It was entering October and the late Autumn sun was shinning down open the grounds of Hogwarts. The air was fresh with the odd cool breeze making the tops of the trees sway in the wind. Slowly walking down the steps from the main building, Girty could not help put let a smile grace her face as she looked up at the sky.
At a slow pace Girty wondered across the grassy quad and followed the wall around the side of the building, running her hand along the wall itself she found herself going left, then right as the pathway got narrower and narrower. Eventually she found herself walking along a low wall as the castle started to run by the lake. The noise of the castle started to drift away and soon Girty found herself in a familiar area. A small grassy area was tucked away by the side of the building. It would only be big enough for 4 people to sit comfortably and at this time of day half was covered in a cool shade.
Stretching out on the grass, Girty looked at the sky only to be disturbed by the sound of someone stumbling around the side of the building.

Bailey had been searching for girty for many an hour and had even got to the extent of asking Dan if he had seen her about anywhere. However he hadn't known much of her whereabouts either. We need to get a tracking device for this girl! she thought laughing to herself.
Bailey had been walking the grounds to see if she had been around there. The wind blustered though her long hair and had reached the stage of not being able to see past her red locks. However the breeze had its uses, it added to the atmosphere dramatically, the breeze caused ripples along the lakes surface, disturbing the generally motionless murky substance.
She had become so concentrated upon the lakes surface, that she almost missed the sight of an individual dissappearing around a corner close to the castle walls. Bailey decided to see who it had been, thinking perhaps it was Girty. She wandered down a twisting pathway, following the person she had seen, and soon entered a small grassy area. However the verge was uneven and Bailey suddenly lost her balance slightly and lurched forward.
Bailey lay on her back and then turned t face the person she had followed, it turned out to be Girty afterall!
"Just thought i'd drop in for a chat!" Bailey stated whilst giggling.

Sitting straight up at the sound of someone talking Girty noticed that a Hufflepuff was lying in front of her. Crawling over towards Bailey Girty lifted up the many stands of her hair covering her face with a giggle.
“And it is a very nice to see you too….but how did you know I would be here?”
Girty looked at her cousin with a look of pure confusion. However Girty knew that no sensible conversation could happen when one was lying on their back and the other on their knees. Standing up Girty stood over Bailey and reached for her arms pulling her up with all her strength. However she did not get very far and soon Bailey landed on the floor with a bump. Girty tired to stop herself form laughing but it was very hard. The laugh burst through her lips, making the sound of an old muggle car trying to start up.

Bailey looked toward her cousin as she moved strands of her hair that had been opposing her vision.
"Tis' indeed, I haven't spoken to ye in like days!" She stated in mock devastation, smiling she added "Aye, well it was completely accidental actually finding you, I have been searching for you since breakfast! I even went and asked Dan is he had seen you recently, but to no avail! But I found you by chance in the end so its all ok!"
She took Girty's hand only to be dropped onto her back once more, "Ow! how uncalled for, beating up your own cousin! sickening purely sickening!" she laughed knowing that Girty would not take her seriously in the slightest.

Laughing with Bailey, Girty turned her back on the girl and sat back down in her spot. With a small giggle she listened to what Bailey had to say whilst looking over at the forest on the other side of the lake.
“I know it is very sickening. But what did you expect? It is me, but saying that you’re the one more likely to sue force as retaliation Forget the wand as long as you have your incredibly bony figure to poke people with then your happy”
As she laughed along at her own joke Girty could not help but filch as she saw movement under the mass of red hair. She more then expected to be hit to poked for even mentioning it.

Bailey laughed at Girtys comment on her boney fingers.
"Indeed retalliation is always the way forward, an eye for an eye eh! Well in my case the finger is mightier than the wand, non has a mightier poke than I!" She said proudly.
Bailey was about to sit up and poke Girty in the upper arm however that required too much effort, instead she just poked her in the lower leg because it required much less movement.
"Even so, i may retalliate, but at least i know when to retalliate, unlike you at that wedding, i can't believe you poked me whilst auntie May was watching, you know how easily she gets annoyed!"she giggled as the memory popped into her head, the faces alone caused many hysterics among the family.
