Girty watched David with great interest, he was unlike any other Gryffindor he had met, he seemed quite and not full of himself. Most unlike Will who had a bad habit of making Girty feel uncomfortable around her, David had the opposite affect. She felt like she could sit and talk to him without having to worry about anything. As he mentioned Quidditch and the bad luck for the team she gave a rather timid laugh. What he had said was the truth and it was hard to bare, Girty wanted Hufflepuff to win the cup badly.
“Well I would not say impossible, just very difficult.”
As the gust of wind blew Girty let it fly through her hair making the stray stands fly around her. David too seemed to be enjoying the beautiful morning, however when she saw that he had his arms spread out she gave a small snort of laughter.
“You look like a bird stuck in the mud.”

David laughed at her very apt discription. "Hey! I do not! Well... sort of.." He flapped his "wings" and hopped on one foot suddenly losing his balance and falling over on his face.
"Ow!" He got up and brushed himself off. Blushing a little at his stupidity. "Umm.. Sorry about that I deserved i for being an idoit though."
((Sorry for the shortness I have writers block))

(Do not worry it happens to all of us)
As David fell to the floor Girty let out a snort of a laugh, I she had been around her friends in the Hufflepuff common room she would have ignored it but she was not. Feeling just as embarrassed as David looked when he stood up Girty clasped her hand over the mouth and nose in hope that no more sounds would come out. It was very difficult as she could not help but laugh, her shoulders began to shake uncontrollably and eventually she needed to breath. As soon as her hand was removed from her mouth she burst into a fit of giggles, occasional disturbed by a gasp for breath. After a minute or to of laughing, Girty realised that this might be making David feel worse, and so decided to try and reassure him.
“I do not know why you are apologising that is the most funniest thing I have seen in years. But anyway do not worry for it always me who falls over, I now see why people laugh at me so much.”
With another small giggle Girty noticed that he had a leaf stuck in his hair. Reaching out she carefully pulled it out still laughing to herself
