Perched on a branch overlooking the lake, Rakki sighed and shook her head. Waiting was so boring when one couldn't hold a conversation with oneself when there was a possibility someone could walk up and hear you.
Rakki rolled her eyes and started to swing her legs. It was a rather nice day out, actually. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, the breeze was blowing, and, well, it was a bit nippy. Just perfect for Rakki. Almost instantly forgetting her sister as the wind blew through her hair, Rakki started to softly sing a song that was recently stuck in her head. "Listen well... will you marry me? Not now, boy-- are you well in the suffering? You've been the most gracious of hosts. You may be invited, girl, but you're not coming in."

Aly stood under the tree just out of sight listening to her sister singing. Rakki had a beautiful voice. It was a shame no one ever heard it. Aly set down her bag, grabed onto a low brach and swung herself up into the tree. She climbed until she was level with Rakki. "Hey sis. Did ya wait for me long?"

Rakki let out a startled whistle. "Not really, but what took you so bloody long?" She attempted to leer at the older girl.

Aly shook her head and chuckled softly. "Sorry, lost track of the time... so how have you been doing?"

"Pretty good, actually." Rakki answered, looking back at the lake. The secret Animagus lessons she was taking with Amadeus was coming along pretty nicely, to be honest. "How are you holding up on your end of the big stick?"
[And by secret, I mean it. Only she and Amadeus know of it]

Aly smiled. "I'm good. I missed you though. It was really weird me being at Beauxbatons and you being here at Hogwarts..."

Rakki shrugged. In all honesty, she didn't want to continue going to Hogwarts. She didn't want to go to a sissy girly school that NO ONE could EVER pronounce the name either*. With such insanity going around her at such a pace that not even her sometimes-daft mind could keep up, she just didn't want to continue. "Well, anyways," Rakki silently tore away from her musing and looked at her sister. "Wo nana."
[no offence to those characters who went there]

Aly smiled sympathetically. "I know it's hard here. Just hang in there okay? So, did you miss me?"

"To be honest, no." Rakki once again shrugged. "I started the year after brother graduated and I'm not the kind to run around making friends. I just grew accustomed to keeping to myself. Who knows, maybe when I leave here I'll be just like your typical Slytherin." Rakki made a face at that. What the hell was her brother thinking when he wanted to sorted into the house? Dad was right, Rakki mentally sighed. I would have faired better in Gryffindor.

Aly's face fell. "So our relationship means nothing to you? I see..." Aly slipped from the tree, landing on her hands and knees. She looked back up into the tree. "I guess this means I should leave?" Aly sighed, "I do love you Rakki. You're the best sister I could have ever hoped for. You know that, don't you?"

Rakki nodded. "Don't take it personal, Aly, the past two years have been hectic for me." She gave her sister a small smile of reassurance.

Aly smiled. "I understand. They were hard for me too" she held out her arms, "Well? You gonna get down here and give me a hug? Or are you just gonna make me stand here like a loser?"
