[Lake] Are You Ready? (and other songs)

Andie stormed out of the Great Hall, she was in a foul mood and someone had already pissed her off. Instead of starting a fight like she felt like doing, Andie decided to go down to the lake to cool off, and think about what had put her in such a bad mood. Reaching the lake, Andie flopped down under a willow, and stared at the sky deep in thought. After a few minutes of boredom, Andie decided to try out a spell that her mother had taught her, it was a spell that could play whatever song you wanted. Andie closed her eyes, and thought of the song she wanted to play, opening her eyes, she waved her wand and Three Days Grace's (a popular muggle band) 'Are You Ready?' began to play. Andie was lost in her own world as loud, angry rock music blared around her...


((oh yeah, about the spell? I made that up. obviously))

[Amadeus Ragni]

The sleepy snow leopard grumbled as something loud and obnoxious drew him out of his sleep. Letting out an agitated yawn, he stretched out on his branch and looked around for the source of it. A Ravenclaw seemed to be oblivious to the world as she listened to the music that surrounded her. Amadeus frowned and flicked his tail in annoyance before jumping down from the branch only to morph in midair and land on his feet as a human. Rubbing his jaw for a second, he strolled over to the Ravenclaw and cleared his throat. "Excuse me, miss, but may I have a word?"

Andie raise her eyebrow and replied lazily, "Unless it's a matter of life or death, I'd rather not. Now go find someone else to bother." Without another word, Andie waved her wand again, and the music played even louder than before

[Amadeus Ragni]

If Amadeus had his feline ears they would be pressed back in silent fury. "If I'm not mistaken," He said a bit louder so she could hear. "I was just going to ask if you can turn the music down a bit. I was sleeping before you came and I would appreciate it if you could turn it down as to not bother the rest of Hogwarts."

Andie was silent for a moment then sighed, she turned over so that she was laying on her stomach, chin resting on her hands, knees bent, and ankles crossed, she regarded the boy for a moment before replying coldly, "What's in it for me? I like my music loud. I'm not forcing anyone to listen to it." She glared as if to dare the boy to challenge her. She should be able to play her music as loud as she wanted and she wasn't backing down without a fight! Of course that was probably just the adrenaline speaking...

[Amadeus Ragni]

Amadeus' eyes narrowed. "The fact that you won't have to deal with an agitated Slytherin for the rest of the year." He felt his invisible tail once again twitch in annoyance. "And I did ask politely; despite the fact you're not forcing others to hear your music doesn't mean you're the only one out here. I'm sure others do not wish to listen to his..." He waved his hand. "Music."

Andie sighed and reluctantly turned the music down. "Are you happy?" she asked moodily. She looked at the boy curiously, "What's your name anyway?"

[Amadeus Ragni]

On the inside Amadeus was rejoicing but on the outside he was relaxed. "Yes, thank you." He once again waved his hand. "And my name is Amadeus." He said in a somewhat elegant [he was still a bit sleepy] manner.

Andie smiled slightly. "Pleased to meet you Amadeus, I'm Andrea. Andrea Riley, but most people call me Andie."

[Amadeus Ragni]

Amadeus nodded and turned around, morphing back into a slow leopard. His tail twitched as he slowly made his way back to the tree he was napping in. He could still hear the music but it wasn't loud enough to seriously bother him.

[Jac Shaw]

Jac loved wacthing people when they didn't know they were being watched. She was in the branches of a nearby tree and had been reading another of her brother's books when the typical slytherin-ravenclaw fray. It was a pleasure to see Andie again after such a long time and, jumping out of the tree, transformed into a cute little grey stripped kitten.

With a saultry swagger kitten Jac pranced happily between the slytherins legs, brushing up against them as she passed and purred loudly. Then she headed for Andrea, still purring loudly, and crawled gracfully onto her lap. She walked around in small circles before curling into a ball and flopping onto her small back. She blinked her ice blue eyes at the ravenclaw and waved a paw at a lock of hair.

((kitten Jac. haha! that is adorable...))

Andie smiled down at her friend in kitten form. "Hey Jac. Nice to see you again. Where've you been? Hmm?"

[Jac Shaw]

Jac knew that Andie would recognize who she was but she didn't change. She didn't want to; she always had fun as a kitten. Ever since she discovered her transforming abilities, Jac had been spending most of her time as either the grey stripped kitten or the speckled blue butterfly. The kitten she was was having loads of fun pawing the lock of hair that hung within paws reach.

Then her eyes caught Andie's and she stopped moving. Sitting up on all fours, reaching to the mid way point of Andie's chest. 'It really has been a long time,' kitten Jac purred. 'But you wouldn't happen to have a fish on you, would you? I'm famished!' Her tail swished from side to side, curling and flickering light a candle's flame.

Andie smiled at her friend disguised as an adorable kitten. "Sorry Jac... no fish today." She looked up at Amadeus and smirked, "So are you done annoying me? Or do you still have something to say?" She knew that as her friend, he didn't care that she often told him how annoying he was. The song ended and 'Animal I Have Become' took it's place. It was a beautiful day and Andie was feeling quite defiant (of course this was probably because she was still pissed at the putrid Slytherin that had insulted her...nah... she was... naturally defiant. yeah! that was it...). Despite of what Amadeus had just said a few minutes ago, she turned up the music as loud as it would go, closed her eyes, and bobbed her head along with the music

[Jac Shaw]

Kitten Jac's purring stopped, no... fish? If she had been in human form, her lip would have quivered. She could not believe it, "not even a little one? A can of Tuna? A basket full of salmon? Nothing?" As Andie closer her eyes and drifted into the music, kitten Jac hit a deadly streak in her newly found fur.

Kitten Jac jumped onto Andie's head and grabbed on tight, careful not to scratch her, and began to very noisily moan, in a cat's voice, the National Anthem. Through 'yows' and 'roos', Kitten Jac added a bit of gargling and made sure to shake Andie's head about violently.
