Jacob walked along the shores of the lake it was a nice day slightly windy and almost too warm, yet just right. He sighed and sat down taking off his shoes and socks and setting them aside. He stood up and walked along in his bare feet feeling each smooth or rough stone under neath and the occasional tickling of a weed under his feet. He sighed perfectly content to just enjoy nature with out too much rush.

Adriana stormed out the doors of the castle, paying very little attention to where she was headed. She was so upset with herself. I obviously didn't study nearly hard or long enough, she thought angrily. She'd just done poorly on a potions exam by her standards. She'd passed and she'd passed well, but she always felt the need to excel in absolutely all her school work. Suddenly she realised she was getting much to close to the lake's shore and stopped. Looking around, she noticed another student was out there seemingly enjoying his surroundings. She hoped he hadn't seen her abrupt stop. It must have looked very strange from another's point of view.

Jacob looked over as a very flustered Ravenclaw came storming down to the lake. She looked annoyed at something or someone, so Jacob thought it best not to disturb her. He wiggled his toes into the mud enjoying as it blurped over his toes and pulled them down back into the mud.
The wind went out over lake sending it in waves over his feet. He gasped as the cold water came over his toes and walked back a little.

Adriana had let her mind wander back to the exam. It had been quite hard and most everyone had done much worse than she had. That made her feel a little better at least and being outside helped with her mood drastically. She jumped, startled by a gasp coming from nearby. It was the boy, she realised. She was quite worried that something horrible had happened, but then after a moments observation that it was probably just the lake water washing over his feet. "It's really that cold, huh?" she said, trying to make conversation.
