[Lake] A lonely and tortured soul

Andie walked quietly down the gently sloping grounds towards the lake lost in thought, she sat down at the edge of the lake, and pulled of her socks and shoes, dipping her toes in the water, she flashbacked to when she first met him. Russell. It was last winter, she had been a 6th year, and he a 7th year. But he had dissapeared without a word shortly after they met. He had told her that he liked her, and she knew she loved him. So why did he leave? A tear slid down Andie's cheek as she relived the bittersweet memories. She wished she knew where he was. How was he doing? Did he ever think about her? Was he even alive? The thoughts were too much and she drew her knees up to her chest, wrapped her arms around her knees, buried her face in her arms, and began to cry softly, quietly. They were tears of sorrow, despair, hurt, anger, and fear. Andie was lost in the darkness of her lonely and tortured soul. And she didn't know how much longer she could last.

[Ariane Winchester]

Ariane walked along the close edge of the Lake, seriously considering jumping in and killing herslef. But then she looked up and saw a girl sitting all alone and crying and Ariane pushed all thoughts of suicide away... for then. SHe walkd over to the girl "Are you okay?" she asked softly.

Andie looked up, startled by the sudden voice. It was a Hufflepuff girl. Andie gave a small smile and sniffled, "I'm fine." she replied wiping her face with her sleeves, but of course her tear-choked voice said otherwise. She gave a resigned sigh. "I just really miss someone..."

[Ariane Winchester]

Ariane stood silently for a moment "That's a shame. I know how you feel" she said softly "Can I join you?"

Andie smiled, "Sure. Have a seat."

Ariane sat down carefully, trying to stay away from the dirt of the shore. "I know it never helps me when people ask me this, in fact some times it makes it worse... btu it helps some people so- Do you wnat ot talk about it?" she asked.

Andie glanced up in surprise, amazed that anyone, let alone someone she had just met, would want to talk about her problems. She hesitated just for a moment, '"Uh, s-sure. I guess." She took a deep breath and began her tale. "Well, his name is Russell Parkhurst, I met him last winter when I was a 6th year, and well... he was the first person that I ever fell in love with... but... he dissappered about a month after we met... and... I haven't heard from him since..." her voice broke on these last few words and Andie wiped her eyes with her sleeves

Ariane patted Andrea's arm comfortingly "I know you might not belive this... but it will eventually get better" she said softly "

Andrea smiled slightly. "Yeah, I just miss him... maybe I should do something to take my mind off of it... but anyway, enough about my troubles. What's your issue?" she asked the other girl
