Ian threw his bag onto one of the swinging benches near the Greenhouses carelessly, barely registering the worn Transfiguration text that toppled out from it. A sigh escaped his lips as he threw himself down onto the seat, the force causing the bench to swing back and forth slowly.
Preparation for his N.E.W.Ts basically meant every Professor was at his heels for homework -- something he had rarely done in his past seven years at Hogwarts. Though, all thoughts of school were forgotten now as he swung silently on the bench in a relaxed way, a quidditch book opened within his hands.
Now that the weather was clearing, the Greenhouses spurred to life, and many people were scattered around him. In fact, the dull drone of voices moulded into the background, and Ian barely registered the voice addressing him as he flipped a page.

Hogwarts was hectic; especially for final year students, in fact Boggleworth would swear blind he'd never been so busy in all his life. The stress was immense; at least it was supposed to be, and it tended to get to each and every student, no matter how prepared they were; exam nerves could take control and ruin their chances of a successful career completely, everything depended upon decent N.E.W.Ts; without them people were nothing; no pressure at all then.
Boggleworth was handling his studies abominably, yet he wasn't the type to get overly stressed; his knickers were never in a twist, except when the Ministry were upon his tail, then it came close. Seldom was he not cool, calm and collected, the three C's he abided his life by, and today was no exception, striding into the Greenhouse purposefully, he strove to find one particular plant, he'd know it by sight, but for the life of him he couldn't remember its name; leafing through a book may have been easier, but he prefered the old fashioned way, completely by hand.
Yet he grew bored incredibly quickly so gave up his search within a half-hour, well it had seemed like that, but in reality it had been merely a minute or so. Besides if he couldn't remember it, then obviously it wasn't that important; was it?
Searching for something or somebody more exhilarating, his piercing eyes spied out Ian, sat with his nose in a book as was the norm, or off on some wild adventure of course. Grinning Boggleworth sprang over to him waving merrily to brighten the spirits of all within the grimy greenhouse.
"Hey Ian," he called yet receiving no answer he smirked, he looked in a world of his own; there was no way that was a textbook.
"Wakey wakey," he yelled into his ear grabbing him by the shoulders he shook Ian to bring him back to reality. "What are you reading?" Questioned Boggleworth hands upon his hips in a mock lecturing manner. "You were dead to the world," he commented dryly.

Ian yawned, about to turn another page when suddenly he experienced a mild earth quake. Seeing Bog in clear view, he let out a startled laugh and kicked his bag onto the floor making room for his friend to sit.
"My brain's been turned to mush lately with all this work piled onto me." He said, coincidently leaving out the fact that he hadn't actually done much of it. Then, with a smirk he leaned over and glanced at the weedy floor toward his Transfiguration textbook. "Well, see, I'm reading this--" he held up the quidditch book innocently, "They use plenty of Transfiguration spells on mascots, did you know?"
