Soft quiet steps could be heard from a distance, as the rustle of a wind blew against Char's hair letting it softly float behind her. The girl pulled her pink, rather conservative sweater around her small frame, as she bit her lip, feeling the sting of the wind for the first time. Today was one of those days, that looked like it was warm, though upon stepping outside the wind would unpleasently greet you in a cold manor.
Charlie looked around. She was new here, she couldn't stand being new. She didn't know what to do, or how to act. She didn't exactly want to be here, she was almost sure that no one would befriend her and that she would have absolutely no one to talk to.
Biting her lip, Char glanced down at the worn down path, the old wood faded from the summers sun year by year, her eyes slowly wondered towards the water, as the smallest hint of a smile played upon her lips. Charlie walked towards the water slowly. She didn't know how to swim, therefore she never exactly got too close to the water. She had a small fear of it you see, though there was such beauty that crept with it.
Sighing, the girl stood, almost lifeless. She was lost in thought, lost in her emotions and everything around her. It was almost as if the girl wanted to just start crying - though she couldn't do that. She didn't want anyone to see her, even though this place looked well deserted, it was quite late at night. Slowly, Charlotte walked towards the dock, taking a wobbly step onto it, as she bit her lip, slowly walking towards the edge...
