Matty sat by a tree, watching Emilie run along the shore. "Daddy, I've missed you so much! I'm so happy I could come here and see you." she was saying. Matt smiled and said nothing. He was also very happy she could come here, too. He felt guilty leaving her at home for such a long period of time. she was now running up to him. She put her little arms around his waist, giving him a hug. "I love you lots." she whispered. He put his arm around her. "I love you even more." he whispered back playfully. Emilie just laughed, not letting go of him. Nuh-uh! she said between laughs. Emilie let go of him and ran back to the shoreline.

Kellcie had come out for some fresh air, she had been stuck up in the castle now fo far too long. She needed a break from the confinements and the only place she knew she could do this was the lake. Not a lot of people went down there anymore, and when Kellcie went, nobody was there usually.

Though when she got down there, she saw Matty and Emilie. She watched them for a little bit smiling at the scene before her, she never knew anyone that loved their children more than Matty loved his daughter. When Emilie went back down to the shoreline, Kellcie went over and sat down next to Matty. Smiling she said, "Ive never seen a father as close to his daughter as you two"

Matty was watching Emilie carefully incase she fell in. Emilie was very careful, so there really was no need to watch her. But still. He listened as she laughed an ran around. He almost jumped when he heard a voice next to him. It was Kellcie. One of his old school friends. Of course when he wasa seventh year, she had only been but a third or fourth year. He was nice to her though.

"It is because of my demented past. I was abused by my own father. He abused me and Anna for no reason whatsoever. I would never want Emilie to experiance something like i did so many years ago." he replied. Emilie was looking for rocks now.

Kellcie was watching the little girl run around, she smiled. She was certainly a happy child, which was good. Young and carefree, the right way to be. Kellcie had known Matty since he was in school. Being in so many years below him, she looked upto him, admired him. Of course she would never tell him that. Though it was nice to see an old friend when you got a bit older, made you appreciate them more.

"I didnt know, how horrible" Kellcie was genuinly shocked and appalled. She had never suffered pysical abuse. Her parents ignored her a lot though because she wasnt in Slytherin, but Kell had gotten past that many years ago. She was even starting to rule out the slytherin voice in her head. She watched as Emilie looked for rocks to play with, Kellcie smiled. Usually when someone else was here, it wasnt as peaceful. Though she liked it, it was still peaceful. And the little family atmosphere coming off Matty towards Emilie was definatly in the air. "Shes grown a lot since i saw her last" she commented, returning her gaze to Matty. "How has things been since we last saw eachother?"

"I am over the fact that my and my sister were abused. I just don't want Em suffering for something like that." he said. emilie can running up to them, with four flat rocks in her hand. She dropped them when she saw Kellcie sitting next to him. "Kellcie!!!" she exclaimed, running up to her with a smile on her face, as always. She put her arms around her, as she had done with Matty. "Daddy didn't tell me you were here, too."

"Emilie wont, she has the best daddy in the world" Kellcie smiled playfully punching Matty on the arm. Kellcie looked at Emilie and smiled, she had rocks in her hand which she dropped and came to Kellcie, giving her a slight hug. Kellcie hugged the young girl back, "Hey Emilie" She smiled, "I dont think you daddy knew i was going to be either, thought i'd surprise you both"
