Aiden sat on the bottom step of the grand staircase, his worn out guitar lying at his feet. He had left the common room a little early, hoping he wouldn't get stopped by any teachers on his way to meet Maeve. He had been lucky enough to make it to the great hall without any incident, thanks to his knowledge of the best shortcuts and hidden corridors. It would be easier for Maeve to get here. The dungeons were close by, and the patrols down there didn't start till around midnight.

Aiden ran a hand through his light colored hair. He was excited to see Maeve again, ever since they had parted ways in Hogsmeade. He had fallen for a Slytherin girl and he didn't care. He liked Maeve way too much to care what anyone else though. So far, the only person he knew about this meeting and about Maeve was Drake. For one thing, Aiden couldn't keep something like this from his best friend. And for anoter, Drake could always tell when something was up.

Aiden pushed up the sleeves of his grey sweatshirt, brushing off any dirt from his tattered jeans. Maeve would be here any second. At the thought, a small smile played about his lips.

Maeve walked down the stairs into her common room. She hadn't changed from today's outfit except she added her blck cloak just in case she was in an easy to see area. She walked over to the door and double checked the common room. It was empty as far as she could see, so she opened the door. Sticking her head a bit, she glanced both ways down the corridor before heading out. When she shut the door, she put her hood up over her head and began towards the stair case.

Unfortunately for her, rounds had started a bit early with some teachers. She quickly slid behind a portrait she knew would lead her up to the Great Hall before she was seen. Running through the passage, she turned whenever she needed to going up an incline. When she came to an end, she smirked and looked through a very small eye hole Bellatrix, Narcissa, and she did back when she first started Hogwarts.

Checking to see if there were any professors, Maeve spotted Aiden sitting on the steps. Of course, she saw the back of him, being behind the boy. She smiled to herself and slowly and silently moved the few stones needed to get out of the passageway. She slid beneath through the small hole and covered it back up. She quickly walked to the railing and with her hood still covering her face, she said in a disguised voice, "Monsieur, I'm looking for an Aiden Zyler. Do you per chance happen to know where he could be?"
