"Who said that I hadn't lost it on purpose?" Lidia asked, catching her wand. "Yes, it must get very tiresome." She whispered to Adriana. It was very uncommon for someone to talk to Lidia with such disrespect. She rolled her eyes as Adriana said thank you to the girl. "Don't tell her thank you! She's a Slytherin and she doesn't deserve it. Just because she helped two people out doesn't mean that she wouldn't turn on you in a second." She said, somewhat frustrated. Lidia was a Slytherin as well, but she didn't think of herself to be like that girl. "Yes, let's." She said, taking a long stride to change the direction she was headed. If she was lying to us, she has another thing coming. Lidia thought to herself. People pushing her around, yes, very unusual for a Slytherin, was about to stop.

Fiona appeared out of the gloom again, barely an inch from Lidia's face, her gray eyes glittering strangely.
"It is not wise to threaten nasty people when you're all alone, miles under the castle. I don't think you realize the vulnerable position you're in," Lidia could feel Fiona's wand tip tickling under her chin, "No one to hear you when you scream for help. There are miles and miles of these tunnels... how long do you think it would take them to find you?"
Fiona's voice had lost that whisper soft quality, it was as hard and sharp as ice, "You denounced your own house, I don't like people who turn their back on their own kind. Slytherin stands for something powerful, something pure... it's people like you who stain our reputation for greatness."

Kristin came up from behind the two arguing girls. She recognized one of them. "And you should recognize your place as a fourth year" she said, giving the girl a glare. No one messed with Kristin's friends. "It's your pride that makes you un-pure. So, back off."

(o.o.c.: You make it sound like she's glaring at Lidia...)
BIC Something hidden next to Fiona's feet hissed, and a paw flashed out, claws cutting deeps lines into Kristin's ankle. Fiona ignored her cat, and Kristin. Her unblinking gaze never left Lidia's face.
"Age does not assure wisdom... or the right to respect. If you don't learn that now, you'll be forced to learn when someone younger mops the floor with you."

Adriana stood still where she was, trying to figure out what she should do next. The whole situation was getting out of hand quite quickly, but she felt there was very little she could do about it. She just watched helplessly as the two Slytherins began to argue. Then a third came, which she found quite strange considering she and Lidia were lost in the maze of tunnels that made up the dungeons. She supposed that this new Slytherin must know her way due to her age, but the girl looked as though she couldn't be more than a year older.
Adriana's grip on her wand grew tighter as the Slytherin's arguing increased. Then something that the new girl said struck a chord. That doesn't make any sense, she thought, her brow furrowing, Pride making one unpure. She wanted to tell the girl that the word was impure, but was worried that saying such a thing would just cause the girl's wrath to be focused on her instead. And with Fiona's reply, Adriana couldn't help but feel as though the reply was something she very much agreed with. She wouldn't say so of course, but she definitely felt that age had very little to do with wisdom and with respect. Adriana suddenly felt much more akin to Fiona, again, something she wouldn't never tell anyone.
Still Adriana didn't know what to do. Chances were that this was just going to get worse unless something happened to stop it from doing so. And that cat seemed to be as vicious as an attack dog. She decided that for now the best thing to do would probably be to just get out of the way. So, she backed up against the wall and inched slowly behind the quarreling girls.

Adam, had been trying to find his way out of the cold, dark, damp dungeons, when he came upon a group of girls. Three of them, he didn't know, the other was Lidia. Lidia hadn't noticed him yet so he went up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Hello ladies, not having any trouble are we?" he greeted the group of girls.

Half relieved, half sickened, Adriana watched as yet another person joined their group. The display of... Affection she guessed it should be called was rather inappropriate at the moment. At least it's probably enough to stop the arguing for a brief moment, she thought. But why, oh, why is everyone getting lost down here today? And a couple for goodness sake. Maybe they got lost on purpose though. She absolutely hated when she was around a couple. She always felt so extremely awkward and left out, not that she urgently wanted to be included though.
This boy must be daft, she thought when he finally spoke. "Are we having trouble, indeed," she muttered from where she was. The tunnels did quite a good job at echoing sound to and fro. She couldn't even begin to fathom that the boy couldn't have heard the arguing. She shook her head at how stupid it all was. She wanted to get out of there and she wanted to get out of there soon. The cut on her hand was beginning to throb painfully, causing her to wince every once in a while. She sighed in frustration. "Please, please, couldn't someone just tell me the best way to get out of here?" she begged in a slightly frustrated tone. "I've had enough of your arguing."

Adam smiled at the Ravenclaw. "A bit frustrated I see... well unfortunately frustration will get you nowhere Milady." Adam released Lidia and gave a slight bow to the Ravenclaw. "Adam Carson, at your service." He turned to the others, "Now what say we stop this ridiculous bickering and try to find our way out of here? Hmm?"

The boy had hit a nerve. "Oh, yes, thank you, good Adam Carson sir," she said in a mocking tone while curtsying to an extremely low height. "I shall try and keep my frustration to a minimal level, sir, if you'd do me a favour and stop acting so bloody arrogant." She'd finally snapped and, though she felt a tiny bit guilty, she could hardly help herself. His arrogance was what put her over the top. The way in which he waltzed into the middle of their conversation and immediately made himself the leader was just infuriating to Adriana. She had the strong urge to punch him in the face, but restrained herself. Taking a few slow deep breaths, she regained her composure and relaxed her grip on her wand.
"You," she said, pointing a delicate finger at Adam. "Don't you come around near me acting as though you own the place, you... you..." she started, not daring to finish her sentence. She was absolutely furious at this point. She closed her eyes and took a few more deep breathes. Stupid prick, she thought, once she'd calmed down enough to think clearly at all. Now she was the one making the scene, but she just couldn't help herself at all. "I'm sorry," she said finally to no one in particular. "Now could anyone but you..." She pointed to Adam. "And you..." She pointed at the third Slytherin girl. "Please help me get out of these god-forsaken dungeons." She ended her sentence with an indignant snort, then looked around at the lot of them.

Adam glared, eyes blazing with fury. How dare she speak that way to one trying to help her? She obviously didn't know what it meant to be thankful. "Well excuse me for trying to help, you little two-faced brat!" he snarled angrily. "No wonder no one wants to help you! I'm surprised that you even have any friends!" Adam took Lidia's arm. "C'mon Liddy, let's go. The little brat can find her own way out!" he regarded the rest of the group cooly, his eyes were like ice, "If anyone else wants to get out of here, I suggest you come with us. If not... well then you better pray that you don't rot down here!"

Adriana grinned. For whatever reason, she thought it was quite funny that the Gryffindor was angry. This wasn't like her at all, she knew, but, once again, she couldn't help herself. He was just being so arrogant and she just had such hatred for people like him. "You weren't trying to help and you know it," she said in a deathly calm voice. "You were just trying to show off and act like a man... Like the hero." She smiled in an incredibly calm fashion before continuing on. "And I'm no brat, nor am I two-faced," she explained in a voice that was ever getting softer. "I just don't do very well when people like you, arrogant pricks, are around me. Not well at all. You see? It's people like you that make this world so much more difficult than it needs to be for people like me."
She opened her mouth to say more, but decided not to. Instead, she just continued smiling for a few moments longer. "I've already been instructed as to where to begin my search and if what I was told is correct I'm going to be getting out of here much faster than you are, Gyffindor." She said the last word rather harshly and glared at the boy before returning to her previous expressionless face.

If Adam had been angry before, now he was furious! With a cry of rage, he gave the girl a shove. "Listen you insignificant little twit! I was trying to help you girls out of here! It's not my fault that you're so stupid that you don't know how to recognize a helping hand when you see one. And I'm not acting like I'm better than everyone else! I act this way because this is who I am! You got a problem with that? Tough, get over it!" he whispered this in a low dangerous voice as he coked his fist back in case the girl decided to attack him. "Don't make me punch you, because mark my words, I don't give damn that you're a girl, or that you're younger, if I have to, I will punch you! I don't like to puch people, but I will if I have to. And you Milady, " he said 'Milady' mockingly and with a cruel sneer, "Are no exception!"

((No godmoding please))
Adriana winced as she fell on her already injured hand, but chuckled anyway. "Temper, temper," she said as she picked herself off the ground. "You know, it takes a real man to start a fight with a little girl. And maybe you didn't notice, but I'm a Ravenclaw. Now, I know you're a Gryffindor and therefor less inclined to think as much as the rest of us, but let me explain something to you." She winced as her hand throbbed once more. Blood was beginning to seep through the now dirty bandage. "I am a Ravenclaw. And, in being a Ravenclaw, there is a rather large chance that I am quite clever, not stupid at all." She continued her serene smile while holding her injured hand up across her chest to keep it from bleeding as quickly.
"And the sad thing is, as you said, you're just being yourself. And yourself is an arrogant little jerk. I'm sorry you can't control your temper though," she said, still calmly despite the increasing pain in her hand. "It must be hard not being able to keep yourself from punching a little girl like myself." She smirked, but was caught short when another wave of pain shot through her hand. Sighing, she massaged around the wound which didn't help at all. She didn't know whether she should just leave or whether she should continue stand her ground. She decided on the later, but prepared herself for an attack by the Gryffindor.

(o.o.c.: This is just ridiculous. They are in the tunnels as far under the school as you can get. Fiona has a perfectly good reason for being down there... Dark Magic, duh. Kristin and Adam have simply jumped in to defend their friend. Their appearance does not make sense! Not to mention that Adam's behavior is completely random, uncalled for, and goes against everything in his profile. What happened to charming and caring? You also went off on a tangent and didn't give other people a chance to post.)
BIC The air around Adam tightened, pinning his arms to his side. He could move, but there was no way he could reach his wand or attack someone else needlessly.
"Control yourself," Fiona hissed, her wand leveled at Adam, Lidia and her idiocy temporarily ignored, "What has she done but defend herself against your tactless bumblings?"
Fiona moved around Adam to Adrianna, Malphas still staring down Kristin, Fiona's wand still trained on Adam.
"Follow me," she snapped, "I told you the way out but you can't seem to follow it by yourself."

((Sorry, I suppose I really should have just not answered as quickly as I had. Sorry again))
"Sorry," Adriana said quickly and quietly as Fiona walked her way. She prepared to follow Fiona out of the strange and increasingly unusual place. The group of people left behind were going to be left in darkness if they didn't light one of their own wands. Adriana just wanted to leave and so took a few steps down the suggested corridor before turning back around and waiting for Fiona. She wasn't going to come back down to the dungeons anytime soon. Not on purpose anyway.
