After much wandering through the 'tunnels', it finally seemed apparent to Lidia that she had gone the wrong way. Somehow she had managed to find herself in the cold, dark, and smelly region of Hogwarts (aka the dungeons). "Great, all I need now is to come across another annoying boy- One that'll hex me." She said, as she thought of all the annoying guys that were probably lurking around here.
Now she could either turn around and go back to the corridor, or look for some way out through the dungeons.
She chose the latter, weaving her way through the darkness to try to find some light.

"Oof!" Adriana cried, having collided with something or someone. She fell to the floor with a crunch. "Oh no," she muttered, hoping with all her might that that noise hadn't been her wand. "Ugh!" It hadn't been her wand, which was good, but she'd fallen on a beetle. Feeling a little sick to her stomach, she heaved herself back onto her feet and looked around, trying to figure out what she'd hit.

Lidia had been walking when she felt something. "What the.." She said, as she bumped up against the wall. "Are you okay?" She asked, hearing the person stand up. "What was that crunching sound?" She hoped it hadn't been something important to the person.

It was just another girl, not the wall. "Uh... yeah," she said, dusting herself off. "It was... It was just a beetle." She gave an involuntary shudder. She really hated insects; ever since she was little she had hated them. It probably had something to do with her brother putting them in her bed while she was sleeping. "I'm really sorry about running into you," she said apologetically. "I just got lost when I was trying to... Er..." She decided it would probably be best she not tell the girl where she'd been going just in case this was a prefect she'd run into. She would already be in trouble as it was, she supposed, being as she wasn't entirely sure she was allowed to be wandering the dungeons like she was. "Uh... um... You're okay, are you? she asked, a little hesitantly. She hoped she hadn't injured the girl.

Lidia didn't recognize the voice. "Ew, that's kind of gross." She said, finding the real wall. "Oh, don't worry about it. Neither of us can see where we are going." She said, with a slight laugh. It was funny that the girl was lost, because so was she. "My name is Lidia, Lidia Cullen. Yes, I'm alright. Are you okay?" She asked, concern in her voice.

Adriana didn't recognise the girl's name as someone who was in her house, so all she could do then was to hope that the girl was at least friendly. That seemed the case so far which was good. "I'm all right," she said, looking down at herself once more just to be sure. She couldn't see anything really, she noticed, so finally decided to pull out her wand. "Lumos," she chanted. Light shot from the end of her wand, shedding light on the otherwise blackened surroundings. Turning over her right palm, she noticed she'd nicked herself on the stone floor. Grimacing, she turned her hand back over. It didn't hurt, but knowing that it was bleeding a little bit made her feel uncomfortable.
"Yeah, I'm fine," she said again, more to herself than to Lidia. "I'm Adriana by the way. Uh... Kent. Adriana Kent. I wish I'd thought to light my wand earlier. I was a little afraid that I'd get caught by a Slytherin prefect," she confessed. She looked down the tunnel as far as she could see which wasn't very far and then said, "You haven't seen any prefects down here have you. I mean... I didn't mean to get lost down here at all, but I'm lost now and there's nothing to do about it except to find my way back." Well if that wasn't the most obvious thing I've ever said, she thought. "So, uh... You don't happen to know how to get back to the Great Hall do you?" She was getting pretty desperate. The last thing she wanted to do was make her house lose points and have it be blamed on her.

Lidia looked at the girl as she watched her check herself. "You're sure that you're alright?" She asked, very concerned. She had always been somewhat caring, she got it from her mother. "It would have been nice if you had had that out earlier." She said, nodding toward the wand. When Lidia saw the blood her stomach turned. She wasn't one that necessarily enjoyed blood. "Well, it's a pleasure to meet you Adriana Kent." She said, smiling at the girl. "Yes, those prefects do get quite annoying don't they." She said with a laugh. Lidia just sighed. "If I had seen anyone down here I wouldn't be lost." She exclaimed. "That would be a good idea. Well, I just came from that way and I didn't find anything." She said, trying to help the girl out, but not doing a very good job. "If I knew the way back I wouldn't be standing here talking to you. I've been looking for the way out for about two hours." She said, looking around her. Lidia couldn't really tell where to go from here. She couldn't go the way the girl just came, because there was no obvious way out that way. And behind her, well, she had already looked that way. The only next way she could go was to the passage on her left. Which seemed even darker. "Do you want to go this way?" Lidia asked, turning her attention back to the girl.

Adriana peered down the dark tunnel leg. It looked less inviting than any of the other's she'd past on the way to getting lost. "Uh... no," she said finally. "But there isn't really any other choice, is the-... Ow!" Her cut suddenly throbbed painfully. Furrowing her brow, she looked down at her hand. It was bleeding a bit more heavily now which made her a tad nervous. "Oh no," she sighed, trying to recall that spell she'd learned from her mother to conjure up bandages. She would have to go to the hospital wing once she got clear of the tunnels. Right then she finally remembered the spell and a single, burlap strand of bandage. That hadn't been exactly the kind she'd been trying for, but they would work well enough. She bit down on her wand and started to wrap her hand tight. Looking down at her handiwork, she figured that she'd done a good enough job and so took her wand from her mouth.
"Well, I guess we'd best be started or else we'll never get out of here," she said, looking back up at Lidia. "I don't want to stay here any longer than I have to and that time has past long ago." She turned and pointed her wand down the dark, musty tunnel. Squinting, she looked once more down the tunnel and then behind her to the surrounding tunnels. It has to be this one, she told herself as she started walking slowly down the long tunnel.

Lidia looked down at the tunnel, just as Adriana did. She laughed at the girl. "No, I don't think we do. Are you okay?" She asked, more concerned about the girls health than anything. When Lidia looked own at her hand she almost fainted. Blood was really not her thing. "I'm sorry I would help you, but I..." She had to stop. Her stomach kept turning in disagreement of the sight and smell. "Do you need help with that? I mean as soon as we get back I'm taking you straight to the hospital wing." She said, watching the girl bandage herself. "We should hurry." Lidia said, more to herself than Adriana. "Yeah, we might run into someone though." She said, trying to calm down. Adriana was right about that. No one wanted to stay sown here longer than they have to. "I can hardly see anything down there." She said, taking a step forward. Lidia walked right beside her as they started down the only tunnel that was left. "Hopefully.." She muttered.

Adriana chuckled a bit as she continued her slow way. "Perhaps you should light your wand too," she suggested, grinning cheekily. She thought that she may have sounded a bit rude, but she'd just been joking. "You know, I was just trying to find the kitchens," she confessed as they continued their way down the dark tunnel. "Someone told me they were down here. But they must have either been lying or purposefully trying to get me lost though I doubt that." She sighed and took a deep breath. She wanted so badly to be out of there. Just then, she saw the light start reflecting off of something they were slowly making their way toward. It was a fork in the tunnel. She didn't know which way to go. "Uh... So, right or left?" she asked, turning around to face Lidia.

Lidia turned to Adriana and said, "I would light my wand, but I lost it a ways back." Not realizing that she was just joking. Lidia almost laughed when the girl told her she had been looking for the kitchens. "Did you honestly think you would find them here." She said, pointing the cob webs and bugs. "I think they thought it was going to be a funny joke." Lidia said, turning her attention to where she was putting her feet. She looked up when she saw Adriana's feet slowing down. There was a fork, but which way to go. "Um, do you wanna flip?" Lidia asked, pulling a coin out of her pocket.

"You know, anybody so rediculously vapid as to loose their own wand doesn't deserve to have it back," the whispery, icy cold voice of Fiona MacKinnon preceded the girl as she stepped into the light of Adianna's wand, "however... being the castle's resident bitch nazi does get a bit tiresome."
Fiona tossed Lidia her wand, steely gray eyes appraising Adrianna like she a horse at auction rather than a human being.

Adriana had just been about to point out that flipping a coin would be a bad idea in the dark when she was startled by a seemingly disembodied whisper. The appearance of another student was at first a relief to her, but, upon hearing what the girl had to say, that relief quickly vanished. Adriana wanted to say something, but couldn't think of anything to say, having been so caught off guard. Instead, she chewed her lip and glared back at the girl. "Excuse me," she said finally deciding against confrontation for the moment, "But do you know how to get out of here?" From the little she knew about the girl, Adriana felt that this non-confrontational approach would probably not work very well. She, however, felt it better to try it out first.

"Try following the tunnel that slopes up. The other ones will lead you even further under the lake."
With those curt directions, Fiona spun on her heel, her Slytherin robes flaring around her tiny form as she headed up the indicated tunnel.

"We're under the lake?" Adriana said, more out of shock than anything else. "Oh, and thank you," she called after the Slytherin. That, she thought, had been much too easy. She couldn't, however, help but feel like maybe she was being tricked. It would have been the second time that day after all. There was some sort of saying about getting tricked twice, but sadly she had no idea how it went. She shook off the thought and turned back to Lidia. "So, shall we go then?" she asked already beginning to walk down the tunnel that had been suggested.
