Aiden laid in his bed, staring up at the cieling with a bored expression. It felt like hours since he had crawled into bed and he still wasn't the slightest bit sleepy. He turned over onto his stomach, trying to get comfortable. It didn't help that one of his roommates was snoring extremely loud. Aiden tried covering his head with the pillow, but it didn't even come close to working. Frustrated, he sat up and launched his pillow at the sleeping form in the bed next to him. He waited, but the only response was a loud grunt before the snoring began once more. Aiden rolled his eyes before rolling out of bed. He was dressed in a pair of knee length black gym short and a blue Hollister tee-shirt. He shoved his feet into his Nike sneakers before leaving the dorm.
Aiden crept quietly down the stairs before finally sneaking out of the common room and into the corridor outside. He had done this so many times, it was almost instinct by now. Of course, he had been caught quite a few times but that had yet to stop him. He knew the corridors and path like the back of his hand, thanks to constant exploration of the castle. He had already made up his mind to head to the Kitchens. Not only would there be food there, but he was unlikely to get caught.
So Aiden went into stealth mode, creeping along the different corridors and halls until he reached the fruit portrait. He tickled the pear and then entered. The kitchen was filled with much fewer house elves than usual, seeing as it was late. His prescence was known immediately. He was a regular in the kitchens and wasn't even asked before a tray of cookies and a soda pop were brought to him. Aiden grinned in thanks before hopping up onto a kitchen counter and making himself comfortable.

Alex never really got any sleep because it was always loud, but instead of laying in bed till he passed out, tonight he would go down to the kitchen and drink some milk and eat a sandwich. On his way to the kitchen he saw only the patrols and some teachers. He waved to everyone he saw.
After he tickled the pear and opened the door, he saw a student eating cookies with a soda by his side. He was then greeted by an elf with milk and a sandwich, his favorite. He then grabbed the plate and the glass and walked over to the counter next to the kid.
"So, can't sleep?' he asked then taking a bite of one of the greatest sandwich's he had ever tasted. He chewed and chewed and then gulped down some of the milk and swallowed.

after sleeping through two classes earlier that day, bella was hardly tired. she wasnt really hungry, or thirsty, but she was bored, so she made her way down to the kitchens. maybe someone would be there.
when she got there, she saw her occlumency professor, and some infernal gryffindor. she smiled to professor goth, and gave no notice to the gryffindor as house elves rushed up to her offer ing her trays and trays of sweets. "just a butter beer," she laughed as one came sprinting up to her.
"what brings you to the kitchens this time of night?" she asked.

bella took a long drink of her butterbeer, and sighed as the warm liquid ran down her throat.
"delicious," bellatrix murmured. she hopped up onto one of the counters and crossed her legs.
"tired?" bella asked.

Aiden noticed the door to the kitchens open and didn't pause a moment, still taking another swig of his soda. He was a little surprised to see Professor Goth enter. He really shouldn't have been surprised, afterall, many people entered the kitchens during the night. Especially when they couldn't sleep. Aiden grinned. " Hey Professor." He greeted, popping another cookie into his mouth. He moved over as Professor Goth made his way towards him. Aiden shook his head. " Nah. Not tired." He answered. " Same with you, I'm guessing."
The door to the kitchens opened once more, this time a girl entered. Aiden recognized her as a Slytherin. He wasn't surprised when she took no notice of him. It was the usual behavior between Slytherins and Gryffindors. Aiden could really careless. He chose not to judge people on what house they were on. All pointless and immature to him. So Aiden listened partly with mild interest as the girl and the professor spoke, his pop in his hands. He supposed it was rather late by now, yet he still wasn't very tired. He ran a hand through his untidy hair, trying to think up another way to pass the night.

bella finally turned to the gryffindor. "my names bellatrix, by the way. who are you?" she asked, rather uninterestedly.
she started checking her hair in the reflection of the enormous refridgerator.

Dax was shattered, he had been sent into the forest by Professor Starsmore to try and find some Runespoor snakes for him to show in lesson. The only problem was after hours of searching he found nothing and then he found a whole bunch at once and was bitten more times then he could remember. By the time he had left the forest, taken the snakes to the class room and feed them it was dark and Dax’s stomach was rumbling louder then a dragon.
As he entered the kitchen he found it strangely busy and was half tempted to turn back and go to bed was his stomach let off another loud rumble. Dax’s cheeks turned red and he gingerly patted his stomach as he walked further into the kitchen. He shot a small smile of the others who were in their, listening closely to what they had to say, however it did not seem to be anything interesting, so Dax decided to satisfy his rumbling stomach and took a huge bite out of a slice of chocolate cake.
It was the first bit of food he had eaten all day and it felt so good as it slid down his throat and filled the hole in his stomach. As another large bite Dax chewed on the cake while looking around the room. He was surprised to she a professor there, the Slytherin seemed to awake for his liking while the Gryffindor seemed to be preoccupied in his thoughts. He could get use to this silence.

Bella took another long look at the Gryffindor. Then recognized him. "Aiden? Aiden Zyler?" she asked. "Oh, wow, I have heard so much about you! From Maeve! She's my cousin." Bella smiled, then remembered a little encounter she'd had at breakfast. "I've also met your friend, Drake." She blushed a little.
A Hufflepuff boy walked in. "Hello," said Bella. "What brings you to our little meeting?" She smiled the Black smile at him. "I'm Bellatrix." then she added, "Black."

Aiden was surprised when the Slytherin girl suddenly knew his name. His honey colored eyes widened in surprise." Yeah, I'm Aiden." He said nodding, a small smile on his lips. He was even more surprised to find that this girl was Maeve's cousin. " Are you really?" He asked with a laugh. " Wow. Small world." He grinned. " Nice meeting you." He chuckled. Maeve talked about him to her friends? He shouldn't have been so surprised. Afterall, he did talk to his friends about Maeve constantly. He wasn't at all ashamed he had fallen for a Slytherin girl. He liked Maeve. A lot. Aiden laughed again when she brought up Drake. " Drake? That's my best mate." He grinned. " How did you meet him?"
Aiden noticed the quiet Hufflepuff boy when Bella pointed him out. Aiden smiled at him. " Hey. I'm Aiden." He said with a small wave. This was quite the popular spot after hours.

"Well," started Bella, wondering how to best answer Aiden's question. "He, um, joined the Slytherin table at breakfast. We had a little....'encounter'." Bella tried to explain without spelling it out.
"Yeah, Maeve really likes you," Bella said, flicking her brunette curls out of her eyes. She's always talking about you! And I can see why." Bella smiled. "But we have forgiven her. Mostly because just about all of the Slytherin girls have fallen for Gryffindors! Can you imagine?" Bella hopped off of the counter, and went about fixing herself more coffee. She also made her way over to the fridge, and took a small slice of carrot cake. She wiped all of the frosting off, and took a few small bites.

Aiden nodded, a small smile on his lips. Drake sitting at the Slytherin table. Not something he expected, but he didn't doubt it either. There was most likely more to that story, but Aiden didn't bother to ask. If he really wanted to know, he would ask Drake about it later.
Aiden's small grew as Bella began talking about Maeve. " I really like her, too." He told Bella. " She's really different from any other girl I know. In a good way." He went on. Aiden let out a laugh. " Fallen for Gryffindors? Must be our charm..." He smirked slightly. " We were all bound to fall for one another sooner or later." He said with a small shrug. " I mean, we're supposed to hate eachother yet when you think about it, we're all kind of a like. Plus Slytherin girls are confident, which is always attractive." Aiden went on. He watched as Bella took a slice of carrot cake from the fridge. " Did you fall for a Gryffindor, too? If you don't mind me asking..."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bella smiled. "Yes, we are rather attractive, aren't we?" she asked in a joking matter. He talked about how they were bound to fall for each other. "Yeah, Gryffindors are excessively charming. And I indeed have fallen for one. Scott Brooks. Oh, I like him so much! He rescued me from the forest, and the rest was history...." Bella smiled into space as she thought about him. "And I'm entirely certain he feels the same."
