Aidan and Derryl had come to lunch separately but met on their way into the Great Hall. They greeted each other as boys did, punching each other playfully and laughing.
'Let's go get some lunch,' Derryl said, clutching his arm where Aidan had punched him a little harder then Derryl had liked. Aidan nodded and the two walked to the Slytherin table, their backs to the greater majority of the hall. Striding as they did, Aidan making sure he stood the quarter inch taller the Derryl that his hair gave him. Derryl suddenly stopped walking and nodded his head to the bit of bench next to him, 'here?' Aidan nodded and they sat and immediately began to talk.
'So I've been thinking about number seven,' Aidan said. 'Yeah,' Derryl said, 'what about it?' 'I was thinking that maybe we should move it to next Wednesday.' Derryl nodded. 'Why?'
As Aidan explained his reasons, he was picking up bacon and avocado toasted sandwiches and putting them on his and Derryl's plats while Derryl poured them both a glass of pumpkin juice. 'So you see now why we have to move it?'
'Yeah, but that was the reason we had it on Thursday and not Wednesday.'
Aidan "hmmed" and nodded. 'But no more business, lunch time!' It was Derryl's turn to "hmm" as they both tucked into the toasted sandwiches.

Nikole walked into the Great Hall for lunch. She wasn't really hungry and was planning on skipping it, but had decided that there was nothing better for her to do. As she made her way past the Slytherin table, she couldn't help but overhear the conversation of the Parkhurst twins. She stopped without a sound and listened, shaking her head slightly. It was obvious that, once again, they were scheming.
Nikole laughed shortly after they had finished. "Plotting again, I see," she said with a small smile. Despite the fact that they were trouble-makers, Nikole was fond of the boys. They were smart enough to be Ravenclaws, but thought just highly enough of themselves to be true Slytherins. She knew they would deny it; they always did. But no one was stupid enough to believe that they were actually staying out of trouble.
