Personally, Mikkel thought that the sensations he experienced every time he flew as an osprey could be compared to the birth of a child ¡V an absolutely breathtaking experience. However, he knew that this opinion of his was highly disputable, and the healers at St. Mungo's would have many other stories to tell, so he had always kept this thought to himself and those he was closest to.
Flying over the Hogwarts spires, the young Norwegian sometimes thought that people denied that feeling of ecstasy because they could not feel it themselves. This was another thought that Mikkel kept to himself, but shared with fellow Animagi and again, those he was closest to.
On a window ledge in the Owlery, a handsome osprey stood tall and proud, happy to have the sun shining on his wings and make small talk with his fellow feathered fellows. It turns out that flying over the Forbidden Forest was a shortcut everyone took when necessary even though they had been warned not to. Most were lucky to come back safe and sound, but there were the unfortunate fraction that never lived to tell the tale. Mikkel was glad for this information, as he often frequented the prohibited canopies, but for the owls' sakes, he vowed to investigate further.
Turning back to his human form, which caused a riot amongst the duller owls who failed to recognize his true self, Mikkel twisted around as to take in the wondrous scenery his new location had to offer.
So ... where have I not done some exploration?
