A Midnight Walk [open]

Nikole could feel her face turning a bright shade of red as the girl was shocked. "Well, I usually don't come this way," she explained looking down at the floor embarrassed by her horrible sense of direction.

"Umm...let's try left," Nikole said not looking up from the ground. She hated it when she blushed it wasn't very flattering. She couldn't believe how stupid she felt. She had never felt that stupid in her whole life.

Jac nodded and headed left as instructed. She was looking around when she realised they had come to the seventh floor on the wrong side of the castle. Jac clapped a hand on Nikole's back and grinned at her. "Don't worry about it," she said, "I'm the one who should have recognised this place seeing that I do walk it every day."

They carried on walking. "But don't fret," she added soon, "we'll be in the right place sooner rather then later." Jac certainly hope she was right. She wasn't used to having to escort people to dorms that weren't in her own common room and so tired they were sleep walking while she helped them.
