Vanessa had just been told something that would soon change her life forever. Her family name..it wasn't her family name after all. She was indeed a Malfoy, a secret that had been kept from her since her birth. She was expected to leave her old home with the Valentine's and move in with The Malfoy's, which would include her new sister. Everything was happening too fast, she couldn't take it anymore.

She ran up into her dorms, throwing her things out of her trunk. She pulled out a dress, giving it a quick tear. Nessa let out an angry shriek, and at that moment, she decided she wanted to change.

Maeve sighed. She had slipped up majorly again. Merlin seriously had something against her. First, she asked a Gryffindor for help a few weekends back; Second, she had fallen for the Gryffindor the same day she met him; Third, she'd been meeting him secretly at night and during the day where no one would find them; and fourth, she never thought it could get any more complicated, but she had just told her friend who had been raised by her aunt on her mother's side that she was truly her older sister. Damn, Merlin hated her.

She quickly ran up the stairs just in time to hear her sister throw things around. Opening the sixth year girls's dormitory door, she watched Vanessa rip a dress, screaming at the same time as she ripped it. Maeve shook her head and in hopes in calming her down, she said, "I do that all the time with the dresses I hate." she fiddled with her fingers before admitting quietly, "It was my fault you were given to Aunt Madeline." she hung her head.

Vanessa glared back at her sister, not bothering to face her. "I wish I could do it to certain people I hate," she muttered beneath her breath. "I'm not moving in with you, or the Valentine's. I'll live on my own if I have to," she said, giving another one of her dresses a sharp rip. There goes another designer garment. "Atleast that way I'd know I was wanted." She glanced back at Maeve once, slowly shaking her head. "How could you keep this from me!?"

Maeve shrank a bit into the door she had shut when Vanessa was muttering and talking. She really hated herself now. She wasn't much of a Malfoy when being yelled at by people she cared about. "I've always wanted to tell you but," she turned pink in her pale cheeks. "I was threatened by mom and dad not to tell. I was little when they told me I had an older sister. I-I wanted to tell you right away and owl you, but they used the Cruciatus Curse on me and I was afraid. They said if I told I'd die. I was eight years old, they still scared me at the time."

She pouted, tearing yet another dress. "I'm not wearing these things anymore," she said, more to herself. Vanessa got to her feet, approaching Maeve. "I just don't get why they wouldn't want me. So instead, I get stuck with some mad relatives that think I'll get fat off a freakin' berty bot bean." Her head lowered. "I'm sorry, but.. I don't know what I want to do right now."

Maeve rubbed her arm. "You could start with stop yelling at me." she mumbled. "After all, if you think about it, you got the better end of the deal. Our parents don't really care for us. So, you got out of the nightly beatings and threats." she stated, looking up at her sister. "I would much rather have been stuck with Aunt Mad than them. And what would you have done in my shoes? Seriously think about it now. Would you really have owled me telling me that I was your little sister with all the threats and curses getting thrown your way?"

Vanessa sniffled, she had apparently been holding back tears. "You think I didn't get that much, Maeve? They're all the same..every single name on the bloody tapestry is the same," she said, taking a deep breath. "So.. I guess we're sisters, huh?"

Maeve nodded. "I know you get it from them, but probably not as bad as mom and dad do." she said. "So, there really is a tapestry of Slytherin Pureblood names, huh? I thought people were joking." she grinned, showing she was only kidding around. "Ever since the day you were born...well, let me correct that. Ever since the day I was born, we were sisters. Just sisters who lived as distant relatives instead of close."
