Angrod brooded in a darkened corner of the room, the table he worked upon was simply furnished, with no spit or polish upon it; jsut how he liked it; rustic but easy to work upon. Strangely for furniture within the Slytherin common room, it had no adornaments upon it, not even a fmily crest, it was simply a workmans carved table which he now had his study items strewn across. Books were piled in a corner, parchments lay unfurled ink-wells holding them down. He poured over absorbing every minute detail, but he could multi-task he was also listening to the snippets of conversation that wafted his way.
But nothing of interest particularly sparked his attention sadly and so he remained studiously toiling away, whilst his ingenious mind went over possible plans to implement with the potion he was wishing to concoct, it was a difficult one to manage and required several illegal items; but he could procure them. Where there was a will there was a way, and he had a will of iron.

Nathan stepped over the threshold into the common room and took the deep breath. Finally a room where only purebloods breathed, the air was some what refreshing, not having the impurities of mudblood germs. Rubbing his hands together he turned around to see Angrod sitting in the corner sounded by books and rolls of parchments. Shaking his head Nathan slowly began to walk over towards his friend and carefully sit down in the empty chair. It was one problem with his friend, he was silent and enjoyed reading. Wrinkling his nose Nathan looked at the closest book before deciding to break the silence.
“Why do you spend so much time reading these old things? What good does it do unless they hold some amazing secret to fame and fortune.”
Nathan looked once more a t a roll of parchment hoping it would be a map to secret passageway that would lead to a treasure trove. However he was most disgruntled to find it was ways of feeding dragons. Even that was not exiting enough for Nathan. With a sigh he dropped the book onto the table, letting the bang sound out around the empty corridor.

Feeling the presence of his illustrious friend Angrod nodded curtly at his approach, taking a large leather bound journal so the esteemed Holloway could be seated. Silence reigned between them awhile as was normal, he knew Nathan thought his behaviour exceedingly strange; he really was a man of few words and strange studious habits. Quite different to Nathan who loved to voice his opinion at every given opportunity, as Angrod had learnt from experiences with Nathan; particularly regarding one encounter in the library; now that had been a sticky situation which tested their mettle.
"Books hold much wisdom, you should try learning to read one day," he said with a smirk, of late he had become a little more open with his friends and knew that Nathan in particular enjoyed banter, of a friendly or horrible nature.
"I've found a very interesting article, one even you would be thrilled by," handing a moth eaten book over he instructed "chapter 7 page 652." On those aged pages was the list for the potion he was in the midst of brewing. "It guides you to things, such as artefacts, artefacts of inane power. Interested?"

As the book was handed over to him it took Nathan a while to respond. Finally he reached out for it and looked at the cover with a wrinkled up nose, he could not believe he was touching this filth. The duct and decaying pages was making him slowly turn pale in the face, however as his eyes fell onto the list of potions he was reassured that no mudblood would have read it. Carefully he pondered over the writing and read each word carefully, he was not the greatest reader out of the gang, in fact maybe the whole school but he knew enough to get by, and what he was reading here was extremely interesting.
“Angrod my friend I am very interested. But these instructions seem very complex, and I have never heard of some of these ingredients before.” Nathan looked up from the pages and with narrow eyes studied his fellow Slytherin’s face. “My old friends, you are not brewing these are you? And if so why was I not told before? The qualities they posses would be so valuable, people would die for these.”
Nathan was lost for words. His gaze dropt back to the book and he re-read every thing The money they could make by selling these produce on the black market would be incredible, it would set both of them up for life, they could be richer the all of their ancestors put together. Nathan even let a smile grace his lips, this was a strong prospect for them.

Narcissa saw Angrod sitting at a table in the corner. She decided to add a little excitement to her day, and go see him. She walked over and sat down on top of the table he was working at. Her slim body was sitting right on top of his papers. "Hey." She started hoping her sister would come help. It really was fun.

Bella had been up in her dormitory, when she got the strangest idea to go down to the common room. She didn't know where this urge came from, but when she opened the door, and saw her sister, Angrod, and Nathan, she knew it would be a good day. She hated Nathan, and Angrod was just annoying and weird.
"Nathan, my love," she smirked. "I havent seen you for ages! What have you been doing? Avoiding me?"

Narcissa smiled at her sister. She, herself had pretty much claimed Angrod, and Nathan was Bella's. "So, what ya doing Angy?"

"Yes, Nathan, what?" Bella smiled, wrapping her arms around Nathan. "No need to tell me how much you have missed me, I feel the same."

Narcissa laughed. Bellatrix was deffinetly on her game today. Narcissa lifted her long tan legs onto the table right in front of Angrod. She put her feet on the papers that she wasn't sitting on, and leaned back on her hands. She smiled at him, and reached over to shut his book. "Have you missed us?" She asked.

Anastasia walked down the stairs from her dorm carrying five different sized books, with pieces of parchment sticking out. The books weren't all that heavy but an "Umph." came out when she sat them down on a table near the fireplace. She grabbed the first book on the stack and started scanning the Table Of Contents for the potion she needed.
