Grace had been in the library, trying to complete her essay for Fagin, with little success, when she realised she just didn't want to do it. She had picked up all her many papers and trotted off to the common room. Once there, she dropped her things on the floor in front of the fire place and sat down next to it.
At this time, which was about four o'clock, the common room was surprisingly empty. She could see two first years sitting in a corner swapping Famous Witches and Wizards cards. They were engrossed it their dealings. She smiled at the two then looked into the fire and sighed.

Dax jogged down the stairs into the common room, he had half expected it to be empty due to the lack of sound he heard will he was up in the dormitory. However he was proven wrong when he saw a couple of first years sitting happily in the corner and a very bored looking prefect. As he entered the room a wild smile filled his face, he did not need to be meeting Loren for another 10 minutes, he could spear the time for a friend. Jumping over the back of the closest sofa he landed rather uncomfortable on his side, only to discover someone had left a pile of books on it. With a small groan he pushed himself up, rubbing his ribs and looking rather distastefully at the books he remembered why he actually tied to perform that stunt.
“Did I hear a sigh from a the Head Girl. That can not be allowed, she need to be setting an example that Hogwarts is a happy place.”
Dax was finding it hard to suppress a laugh, he had been in a stupidly happy mood since November and he hoped to pass on the good will to others around him.

Grace heard someone flopping onto the couch near her so she turned to see Dax lying awkwardly on her pile of books. She smiled and giggled slightly, quickly stifling it with a hand in front of her mouth. She turned back to the fire and sighed again.
When Dax spoke she turned to him with a smile. "Well, I haven't seen any one recently, too busy doing everything I need to!" She hugged her legs to her chest, resting her chin on her knee. Then she whispered to the flames, "I haven't seen Bog since our meeting in The Three Broomsticks."
