Nikole sat quietly at a table in the library a book on magical creatures opened up in front of her. Here she was again in the library. Lately she had tried venturing outside and not spending so much time here, but it didn't seem to be working out. She was just meant to be a bookworm.
With a sigh she buried her face in her hands. If she had her way, she would be more of an outdoors type person. She would be good at quidditch, but, no, she was a bookworm who could almost always be found in the library. That fact annoyed her more than anything. Usually when she set her mind to something she could accomplish it, but not this. She could not change who she was.

Charlotte had been searching quite diligently for a book she would have never even thought of reading before. Her pale eyes flitted from title to title; New books, old books, dangerously shaking books, one peculiarly moaning one, and...ah-ha! There was a book that seemed intresting. She meekly brushed her fingers along the top edge before sliding it out, with a stifled gasp, as it heave her arms downwards. It was quite heavy. She grunted and pulled it up towards her chest.
Cradling it against her young bosom, she wrapped her arms around the hardened leather and peeked around the corners of shelves; No one was around. She frowned, she liked people. She heard a soft saddened sigh, and for a few seconds id did not register to her as human, seeing that these books could also make a few strange noises, but none-the-less, as she realized it was a young girl sitting to herself with a pile of books surrounding her, she grinned brilliantly and waddled over to her. She'd sit with a total stranger, than have to be by herself.
Trying hard to set the book down softly, she accidently tipped it to hard and it bumped hard against the chair, sliding off, smacking the edge, and tumbling to the floor. Her eyes grew wide and she quickly snatched it up. Setting it back on the table, safely. She grinned and shimmied into the large chair, and looked at the cover. 'Divination for the Astute Wizard" She had no idea what on earth astute was, she was only eleven, how was she supposed to know? BUT it said divination and that is what she wanted to learn, so she opened up the old cover with a creak, and glanced up at the girl, wondering if she was annoyed.

Nikole looked up to see what the ruckus was. She immediately saw a girl who was younger than she. The girl was probably a first year and had a book that was rather large for most first years.
Nikole chuckled a little at the girl. "Umm...that book is almost as big as you are," she said with friendly smile. Everything that had been bothering seemed to magically disappear with this interruption.
