David sat in the library waiting.... He had told his sister to meet him here she would come as for Rus David wondered if he would even remember. He was the one who had the note; the note they had found in an old rather large, dusty, book. He had sat down at one of the only vacant tables for the library was rather busy a this time of day. He sighed and grabbed the book someone had left on the table; it was a smaller book and contained a detailed history of the dress of wizards. He wondered if it was possible to find a more boring book.

Russell had to dodge people to get to the table where David was sitting. There seemed to be so many that it was hard to see where the young gryffie was. But Rus had spotted him soon enough. He walked through a group of slytherin girls and apologised profusely before reaching David's table.
"Rather popular today," he said, "strange, isn't it?" He stood behind David and crossed his arms, watching the busy people passing by. Then sitting next to David, he added, looking around, "see your sister isn't here yet?"

Winding her way through tables Deianira fought her way towards her brothers table. The library was unusually crowded. She wondered why; she had never seen it this bad before and this was where she spent most of her spare time. She was holding tightly in her arms two books, one one cyphers and codes, and one on inks. She sat down next to her brother and set the books on the table. Looking up she saw an older Ravenclaw and guessed he was Russell.
"Hi, sorry I'm late it's pretty crowded today. So, where's the note. I brought some books that might help."

Russell was staring. A beautiful Hufflepuff had joined them and stolen his breath away. Remembering his manners, Rus jumped to his feet. "Hi," she said as steadily as he could, "I'm Rus ..." He looked on her for a little longer before realising she had asked for the letter. He shook himself slightly and dug in his pocket. He pulled out a piece of parchment and passed it to her, "there."

She raised one eyebrow. As she noticed him staring at her she shook her head slightly guessing that he had just been amazed that she was so prepared for this.
"Ok, thank you Rus. My fathers name is Russell actually."
She laughed a little and took the note being as careful as possible. Looking it over she looked up to see David with a huge smile on his face.
"Ok, fine you were right it is a sinister note." Deianira remembered how doubtful she had been when David had told her that the note was talking about death and how murderers wrote it.

David looked over triumphantly at his sister. He had tried to tell her that the note was writen by murderous killers, but, of course she had just raised one eyebrow and said, "Riiiiight." Now he smiled.
"HA! in your face! I was right I told you I was right and I was right!"
He took a moment to just sit back happy to bask in his "rightness".

Russell pulled himself out of his staring and shook himself slightly. "Yes, we know it's sinister," he said impatiently, "have you nothing else to add?" He was slightly impetuous today and could hardly handle having to ask for things when they were obviously needed without the prompting.

Deianira looked up and glared. "I'll get right to it, don't push me." Her voice was lowered lower then normal. Her muscles tensed and feeling suddenly prodded like a little child she was mad. "I also think that if you think your so smart you figure it out."
She grabbed the book of codes and started to page through it. A little fircely and with out looking up.

Russell stood back a step to show he wasn't about to push her but he was anxious to find out what it was about. "Oh, believe you me," he said raising his hands defensively, "I'm not all that smart to begin with so, please, carry on." He looked at her, his dark eyes shining, and shot her an encouraging lopsided smile.
