Apollo had finally found his way across the moving stairs and through the many corridors of Hogwarts to his favorite room in the castle. The music room. He'd been so busy with exams lately that the muggle piano had a thin layer of dust covering it. He brushed off the bench and sat down, placing his fingers on the cool ivory keys. His fingers began playing across them with practiced patience and he started singing one of his favorite songs:
"And finally the silence Looking out, looking back across the sky Trying to find a meaning Knowing that I just left it all behind Still I smell a lingering softness Where did she go, how did she go I want, I wanna know I wanna know that she’ll be coming here to me
Come on, without you I’ll never feel the love inside of me Come on, you know that we belong Come on, come on. Come on, come on.
Thinking back before her I never knew the meaning of alone Still the flag is feeling foreign I live the day to escape into a phone Speaking of a world not real then Where did she go, how did she go I want, I wanna know I wanna know that she’ll be coming here to me
Come on, without you I’ll never feel the love inside of me Come on, you know that we belong Come on, come on. Come on, come on.
Cause shes sharp for kisses And my heart misses
She’s coming She’s coming here to me I’m needing, desiring to kiss her now I’m living for her, breathing for her Singing for her fairytale
Come on, without you I’ll never feel the love inside of me Come on, you know that we belong Come on, come on. Come on, come on.
As the last notes echoed off the piano and around the room he noticed a shadow looming over the doorway...

Diana walked into the music room. She didn't know she was in the music room, but she heard a gorgeous voice and followed it. Closing the door quietly she listened to his voice. When he finished with his song, she smiled, "Wow." His voice was breath-taking and if it were up to her she'd make him sing another song.
Then noticing what she was doing she looked down at the floor. "Sorry... it was just... I heard your voice and it was.. well gorgeous," she stuttered a bit. She wasn't sure why she was but the randomness of what she did, took her off her normal place and made her speechless.

"Didn't know anyone was there..." he said a bit stiffly as he set the lid down on the keyboard. He looked around the room a bit awkwardly. He wasn't used to, nor particularly fond of audiences, but in a school like this at some point he'd have to get over that. Apparently there was no place private... "Um, thanks..." he said, still unsure about what he was expected to say exactly. He wasn't part of any large social circles or things like that, he mostly preferred to keep to himself so his social skills were a bit rusty. Really, they were a bit more than a bit rusty. He ran a hand through his dark messy hair before finally saying "I'm Apollo," he wasn't sure, but he thought that an introduction would be the polite thing to do next.

Diana looked down a bit embarrassed. She didn't mean to... well be rude, she just heard a gorgeous voice and followed it's alluring sound. "I'm sorry.. I should have given notice... but your voice is really alluring," she giggled and walked up to him. When he introduced himself, she smiled. "It's a pleasure Apollo, i'm Diana Fortuna."
Yeah, she was a people person to say the least. She was usually in the social scene, and incredibly rude gossip columns, but it was just her. "So how long have you been playing for," she asked running her finger lightly down the piano until she came close to him and smiled once more. Diana was one of the only Slytherins she could actually say smiled a lot.

"Wow this girl is... friendly" he thought as she approached him. It wasn't that he wasn't friendly... simply less social than your average student. Much less social. His social skills, on a scale of one to ten, were probably a two; mostly just because he knew how to say 'Please' and 'Thank you'. Beyond that he'd never particularly cared about cliques or status or anything else. What was the use? It's not like those things were worth anything. Unless, of course, you yourself had them. Then it was almsot like currency. He found it heinous.
"Nice to meet you, Miss Fortuna," he said with a nod, moving down the bench as she got closer and closer and closer "Does nobody in this school understand what a personal bubble is?!" he thought incredulously. He stood up and leaned on the far end of the grand piano, "My grandparents taught me when I was a kid, but I've been working on my own stuff for about three years now," he said with a shrug. He wasn't trying to be rude, but his cold demeanor and short answers tended to put people off. It was juse his nature not to care what other people thought, and when they showed actual interest [for whatever reason] as a rule he turned into a clam because of it. He just... wasn't a people person.

Diana felt his cold attitude but she knew it wasn't meant to be rude. "Oh... yeah I love the piano but I'm not the best at it," she spoke sincerely. She moved a bit back to give him some room and leaned lightly on the piano. "So what year are you in," she asked curiously. She was sure that she had seen him before but wasn't sure when.

"Fifth," he said with a nod of his head. He couldn't help himself, he was no people person and he was starting to feel extremly awkward around this overly-friendly young lady. So, as was his nature, he found a quick escape, "Well, I've got a class to get to so... I'll see you around I guess," with that he turned and left the room.

Grace had heard a piano playing and she had thought she had heard a voice accompanying it. She followed the sound for as long as it lasted but when it stopped she couldn't any more. She had to find the piano, thought, she simply had to. She walked along the corridor, opening door after door and looking in to see if she had the right room. None of them were. She held out her hand to take hold of yet another door nod when suddenly the door opened.
"O!" she squeaked as someone came out and in quick a rush too. He bumped into her but being the polite girl she was, Grace thought it was her doing. "Sorry," she said, but he didn't seem to notice her and kept on walking. Grace turned and shrugged. She pushed the door and saw the piano. "O! Goodie!" she said excitedly, as she rushed over to the beautiful grand piano. It wasn't her grandfather’s but it was beautiful.
She sat herself on the stool and ran her fingers over the keys. She smiled happily and suddenly realised there was someone else still in the room. Grace looked up and smiled at the Slytherin. "O!" she exclaimed, seeming to do that a lot these days, "I'm sorry, I didn't see you there. Were you waiting to play?" she asked standing up and offering the chair to the girl, just in case she had jumped the gun and the queue.
