Erys, whom had remained present yet undetected in the form of a cat at the back of the room, decided to listen to the rest of the speech before changing and possibly missing something. Believe it or not, she had a bit of experiance in this area, having been able to accio things without the use of a wand. But that was it, she couldn't do anything else yet. And being a Slytherin, she hated not being able to do something others very well could. This class would prove useful and interesting.
Swiftly returning to her human form, the seventh year eyed the rest of the room's occupants, delighted to find that Angel and Mozess were here as well. So they had signed up too? Wonderful. Sliding into the chair next to Angel, Erys flashed her a quick grin before focusing on the professor. He hadn't seemed too thrilled to be teaching three of her housemates, when he looked at them. This might prove to be an issue in time, it always was with most of the faculty at Hogwarts. Or maybe not, he might actually enjoy their company once he got to know them. These damn prejudices.. She loathed them with a vengeance.
Drawing no attention to herself just yet - except for greeting her friend, of course - Erys continued to pay attention, waiting to see what Mozess had packed up her sleeve.[/color]

Jac knew there was a list to attend this class and she knew too that her tardiness at putting her name on it would count against her. Yet, this was one class she was sure would be a challenge and that would come in handy not only after school but in the up coming Tournament that she was going to be involved in. So, knowing that she was yet again late, Jac ran with all the speed she could muster and entered the class in time to catch the end of the professor's speech.
Jac smiled, nodded to him, and took a seat in the back of the class. No one else had parchment or quill out so Jac simply left hers' in her ruck sack and set it on the floor next to her. She watched the other students with interest, scanning them and smiling at the few she knew, but she quickly turned her attention to the professor. She would talk to him properly after the class about attending. Surely her being in the class counted for something? Jac certainly thought is did and so she sat, watching Mozess when she was picked on.

Angel was glad to see Erys it seemed that a friendly face was in order here for Erys wasn't the only one who had picked up on the professors attitude toward the three Slytherins. It wasn't unusual Angel noticed it all the time the way some of the students looked at her as she walked down the hall. Granted she deserved it sometimes she was a bit mean when the mood struck her but it was still unfair.
Looking up in the front of the room she eyed the man who was calling himself their teacher. It was hard to believe that she had been so excited about this class moments before but now she wondered if she would get a fair shake in this room. Wandless magic was important to her the ability not to need a wand well it was something to dream of.
It didn't matter the professor didn't like them or had something against their house, if that was the case it was fine with her. She was going to do her best and no one could take that away from her.

((ooc: Just to get this class done, I'll just change it around a little for what you guys have to do!))
Leigh smiled inwardly as he saw more students appear at his door, especially the Slytherin girl who thought she had crept from the shadows from her Animagus form. So, this class was more fascinating that I thought, he thought to himself as he washed his eyes over the class. He had a change of plans, closing his eyes and raising his hand.
'No need to come up here anymore, Miss Mirari. It'd take too long for each of you to show me what you're capable of. From now, each of you are going to work individually, just where you are or outside in your own free time. I have sent enchantments throughout the school to let me know if any student that participates in this class uses wandless magic, I shall know.' Leigh explained, smiling a little. The enchantments didn't work as well as he had hoped, but they were well enough. 'Is there anyone here today who would like to practise? You do not have to, just watch and learn from your peers or participate. It is up to you.'
'Any takers?' He said, rubbing his hands together. He smiled and most likely spoke a little too eagerly.

Girty sat and watched other people turn up into the class room, one in particular showing off. Rolling her eyes Girty gave a small wave at Jac as she entered but other then that she sat transfixed on Professor Everritt having a sinking suspicion she had seen him before somehow. And as he spoke his voice still sounded familiar, the only thing she could guess was they had met once upon a time but Girty simply did not pay any attention to the man.
But this time she was, which was more then the rest of the class seemed to be doing and when he asked if there were any takers Girty slowly raised her hand. She might as well take the first step and this seemed the only logical way.
“I will join in Professor. It sounds fun…in some strange way.”
A small laugh escaped as she lowered her hand and placed it back on the graffiti covered table. All she had to do by the sound of it was to do a few wandless spells and there was a high possibility of getting Hufflepuff some points, which was always a good thing. If anything she could get Dan to help her out.

Addis' eyes flickered over to Girty, a subtle smile appearing on his face. He bowed his head slightly, looking at her.
'Miss Hubbles, if you would like.' He said, gesturing to the front of the classroom. 'If you would, perform any spell that you would like. If you succeed, House Points will be given, if you fail, House Points will be taken.'
He knew without a shadow of a doubt that she would succeed, but the amount of points would be given depending on her spell choice and accomplishment of the slight task. He leant forward and rested comfortably on his knees, a smile appearing on his face.

Girty’s mouth dropt open slightly when the professor easily dropt in the point that she could lose points for not succeeding. She was starting to regret being so ready to volunteer, but she knew that having that attitude to it then she would fail. So with a deep breath Girty pushed her chair out from under the table and slowly walked down in between the tables, feeling the eyes of everyone upon her.
Her palms had become sweaty and as she subconsciously reached down towards her sock only to quickly retreat her hand remembering that she was not meant to be using her wand. She was really regretting this now. Trying to dry off her hands she rubbed them on her robe but as she reached to where the professor was keeling she realised in between all these nerves she had not worked out what she was going to do. Looking around the room quickly she tried to think of something, it had to be basic enough so she could do it, but then complex enough to seem like she had chickened out.
Looking around the walls and over the desks her eyes fell on a parchment full of names. The simple thing would be to levitate it into the air, the more complex thing would be to make it catch fire. But then it hit her, Girty had always been good at this charm so why not try it without a wand. So she focused on her own name believing it might make it easier and with a deep breath Girty kept repeating the spell over and over in her head and focused everything she had on her name.
Almost a minute had passed and the writing was as plain as normal, and she was on the verge of giving up and resigning to the fact Hufflepuff would lose the points when it happens. The ‘G’ at the start of her name flickered red then yellow and then orange, and slowly the other letters followed suit flashing multiple colours.
In normal circumstances Girty would have cheered or done something to show her excitement that she had done it. But all she could do was let out a small sigh, stumble backwards and put her hands on her hips. That had been exhausting and all she did was make a few words flash. This lesson was going to be harder then she thought.

Watching Girty show him her skills, Addis turned and saw his parchment give a twitch before her own name started to turn multi-coloured. He smiled and looked back at her, clapping his hands. He had seen her nervousness and automatic reflex to reach for her wand, which was in a precarious position in her sock of all places. He bowed his head, signalling her success.
'Such a spell on an already enchanted piece of parchment shows you have potential, Miss Hubbles.' Addis said, crossing his arms and raising his eyebrow. It was always Girty to do something like a Charm, her own brother was the Charms professor afterall. 'I believe your brother wouldn't believe you succeeded, Girty, so I'll pass word onto him, as well as awarding you Ten Points.'
He raised his right hand and clicked his fingers, a frothing drink hovering in the air appeared in front of Girty. 'Drink it, it'll restore your vitality.' He continued, lowering his hand and looking about on the class. 'You may take your seat, Miss Hubbles. Any more takers? There is a little time left for someone else to earn their house some points.'
