Lisa stared into the dregs of her tea, a frown etched onto her face. Blinking her purple eyes once; twice; three times, she finally gave a long sigh and pushed the teacup away with a small shake of her head.
"Fortune telling is harder than it seems," she said absently, stirring a new cup of tea with a sugar quill. She had a gigantic sweet tooth, and found such a method was quite easier than taking the entire sugarpot and dumping it into her drink. "I think I better stick to Astronomy." She nodded to herself, turning back to the homework she had forgotten to finish the previous night with a wrinkled nose.

Ian strode into the Great Hall, his nose in a book (acquired from Jac, surely) when he noticed Lisa sitting in the hall quite alone. Grinning happily, quite ready to get rid of his literature, he set it near a plate of pancakes messily and slid into the seat next to her.
"Hmm, interesting use," He said, pointing to her sugar quill. Noticing the books laid out neatly in front of her, he smirked and decided to put on his Head Boy facade-- called a facade for he rarely ever used it seriously. "Lisa," he said, his eyes shining amusedly. "That homework should have been finished last night. You're well passed the age of learning your responsibilities, you know--" Stealing a pancake from the plate in front of him, he poured a generous amount of syrup on top and smirked.
"Shouldn't eat that much sugar either... really bad for your health," he added, tossing a fork into his hand and giving her a small wink.

Lisa recognised the head boy right away and grinned mischeivously. "Is that so?" She said with a mock sigh, eyes twinkling. "I suppose, with you being the authority figure and all, I'll have to look at you as a perfect roll model."
Pulling a stack of pancakes in front of herself, she pushed away her own books. "I like the way you think!" She picked up her own fork before taking a huge bite, all thoughts of homework forgotten.
Her teacup lay forgotten on the table, and she grinned lopsidedly. "I was actually trying to tell my future, I'll have you know! I think the sguar messed with the divine aurora of Divination, though." She shrugged and reached for the syrup. "Any luck ever predicting your future, Ian?"

Ian thought back to his previous Divination lessons, Professor Vickers' delighted face forming in his mind. "Actually, Vickers did say I had natural talent when I predicted Mars signaled bad luck and then knocked over one of the teacups in the same lesson." He said jokingly, eying her own pancakes with approval.
"But, I'm afraid my actual future?" Looking into her teacup wonderingly, he shook his head. "My natural talents don't go that far, unfortunately."
Falling into a silence, Ian chewed on his breakfast thoughtfully. "I think it would be fantastic if you could easily travel in time though. The Ministry's made it impossible for anyone to get hold of time turners." As if to emphasize his dislike, he sent a glare toward one of the Ministry officials at the front of the Hall.

Lisa laughed as he sent an awful gaze the official's way. "Yes, well, the Ministry does love sucking the fun out of everything. They're leeches, really." She grinned, before it simmered into more of a mischeivous smirk. "I've never liked them, they're extremely controlling. Personally, I wonder what they're always muttering to each other about."
She gave Ian a pointed look. "Do you there'd be a way for us to find out?"

Ian suddenly looked uncomfortable at her last words, dropping his fork. "Oh-- erm--" He and Loren had stumbled upon two ministry officials months ago, during the time they discovered Felix. Hearing the information seemed to be a horrible thing as destruction ensued when the officials realised they'd been overheard.
"Well, maybe not as easy as you'd think," he said with a smirk. Noticing the look she sent him, he chewed his lip in thought, before mirth collected in his eyes. "Lycott! Head Boys don't go around eavesdropping you know!" Though, his eyes skittered to the Ministry Officials and he took on a bit of a devious look. "Although, if -- hypothetically -- we were to spy on anyone, how exactly do you suggest we go about it?"

Lisa gave Ian a cheeky grin, pulling her homework back toward her but flipping through it to a blank sheet of parchment. "Well, it would have to be done at night. Mostly because that's probably when their most intriguing discussions are to likely take place, but also because it'll be more fun." Her violet eyes twinkled, and she slowly sketched a horrid drawing of a Ministry official.
"Then, we'd have to find a way of being invisible without actually ... being invisible." She raised a brow, tapping her chin with her quill. "I believe neither of us would be able to cast an illusionment charm that a Ministry official wouldn't sense, and I absolutely do not have an invisibility cloak." She frowned as she said the last bit, always having wanted one.
