(Closed to Aiden Zyler, Drake Keller, Vanessa Malfoy, and Joseph DuaTurnebout)
Malfoys are not meant to be unhappy. Malfoys are not meant to be messed with. Malfoys are not meant to feel vulnerable. Malfoys are not meant to be stupid. Malfoys are not meant to slip up. Malfoys are meant to be in total power. Malfoys... Malfoys... Malfoys....
That's all Maeve could think about. This Malfoy had done all of those. There were tons of thousands of more Malfoy Rules she had to abide by and keep, and she had broken the majority of them. But most important, she had broken the most important ones of all:
Malfoys are not meant to be with Half-Bloods, Muggleborns, Muggles, or anything other than Purebloods.
Malfoys are not meant to be with any other people than those of Slytherin.
Malfoys are not meant to be in love.
Maeve hit her head on her house table, munching a banana nut muffin at the same time as she was pondering all this. Aiden was a Muggleborn, she had found out, although it didn't bother her. He was also a Gryffindor, a complete opposite of Slytherin. And she most certaintly had fallen in love with Aiden.
Worst of all, she had gotten a Howler late last night in her dorm from her parents. It seemed Joseph, her betrothed, had became jealous enough to tell her parents, as if threatening Maeve physically, himself, wasn't enough. He had owled them that same morning telling all about Aiden Zyler and her parents thought it wise to tell her she will get beaten once she got home if she hadn't gotten rid of Aiden by then.
She wasn't going to. There was no way she could get rid of Aiden. Not a chance. Joseph could do all he wanted, along with her parents, and she wouldn't give him up.
Maeve then thought of what they could and, most certaintly, would do to Aiden if they got a hold of him. Then again, it would be for his safety. she thought to herself.
If she stuck with Aiden, pain would definantly come to him. Her parents weren't exactly happy with her choice, they never were. She knew it would be bad talking about Aiden to her sister, Vanessa, out in the open where Joseph could over hear. Also, she knew being with Aiden in pure daylight where anyone could see them together, wasn't exactly smart either. Joseph found out anyhow, had threatened Maeve before Tim came to her rescue, and now informed her parents.
This was most definantly trouble in paradise.
