Personality: Dax once upon a time was a smooth character but he has a habit of trying to hard and in the process tripping up at every hurdle along the way (weather it be a metaphorical one of an actual hurdle. He is a hard worker and is willing to try anything once but has a tendency to shy away. His friends are the most important things to him and he will help any of the in time of need. He believes that trust and kindness is vital in life although he can become very competitive when need be.
He likes to think of himself as a nice guy, a guy who is a shoulder to cry on and also man enough to stick up for any of his mates and defend them by picking fights with others (although if they were taller, bigger and stronger then him he may think twice before he cursed them) He smiles at any passers by and occasionally offers a friendly wink and after getting the job as the Hogwarts grounds man he is more then happy to sit around drinking tea and eating cakes with anyone.
Appearance: He his tall and skinny, he had dark brown wavy locks (which his younger brother laughs at saying he has curtains.) He skin is lightly tanned as it is mostly covered up by long sleeve tops and baggy trousers.
History: Dax thought he had a quite life with nothing extraordinary happening. His parents split when he was 5 (they were high school sweethearts, his mother Hufflepuff and his farther a Gryffindor ) and he sees his dad occasionally at the pub but from time to time he spends a few weeks in the holidays with him, other then that his biological farther has little much to do for him.
His mother (Jan) met Dax’s step farther Mark Simmons a year later and they were soon married and they were a proper family with Mark being more a farther to him then his real one ever was. Jan and Mark had 3 more children (Alice, Bernard and Chris) all of whom Dax loves. He finds there company diverting but he also enjoys the fact he can escape them by being at Hogwarts.
The Hufflepuff vibe seemed to have spread through the family (Mark was a Hufflepuff in his time at Hogwarts) and during his time at Hogwarts Dax stuck to these principles…that was until his final year when the very colourful character of Loren Hayes came into his life. Dax fell for her almost straight away, she was stunningly beautiful but very stubborn. It was not until Dax kissed his ex in front of her, ended up having a duel with his best friend and getting a hard slap around the face by Loren did he finally know she felt the same way. It took a few more months but at the ball Dax and Loren patched up their differences and have not looked back since. The couple are now engaged to be married but with Loren working in London and Dax up at Hogwarts as the grounds keeper they do not have as much time to spent together as they once did. [/font]
