Grace is quiet but friendly and open. She tries as much as possible to be nice and appeasing to everyone. Grace will go out of her way to make sure that people get to where they need to be, have what they need and are happy. This is because of her helpful and caring nature. She is passionate about everything she does and works hard to leave good impression on all teachers and adults she meets, knowing that her future is going to be greatly influence by the people she knows and who like her. She is smart and can be calculating, though does not often use that personality trait. , though innocent in her thought that everyone has good in them, has experienced much pain.~ ~ Personality ~ ~

She is approximately five foot four inches and since her father died in her sixth year has become skinny. Her blonde hair is temperamental: sometimes curly and most often strait as tall reeds. Her blue eyes shine clear like a cloudless winter sky (when the sun is bright and the sky is clear and it's that stunning blue, you know that blue! yes, so there) but often when in a strange, distant mood they cloud up and turn the colour of the lake on a particularly cloudy (almost stormy) day. This she does not notice for she rarely looks into her own eyes. Always with a smile on her face, Grace hides the true pain she feels for there are true horrors in her past.~ ~ Appearance ~ ~

Grace is muggle born, daughter of a journalist/ writer mother and a bank managing father. She was close to her mother as a child but her father’s peculiar sense of propriety made him a difficult man to get close to. The distance between them did nothing but grow as she grew older. He father grew into quite an aggressive man, aggressive at his work, aggressive at his drinking; he was an aggressive drunk. By the time Grace was eight years old, she could no longer remember the sweet romantic man her mother would say her father had once been.
One sunny day in July when she was ten, Grace received a letter from a place called Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry offering her a place. She was at first shocked and thought it was a practical joke but when the realisation sank in that she was to be a witch she was overjoyed. She had a few times been able to make object moves without touching them or inexplicable things like that but the letter cleared all of that up for her. Her father, on the other hand, was not impressed. He beat her the hardest he ever had for the what he labeled “tasteless mockery of the postal system”. Despite that, Grace attended the magical school with her mother's blessings and Grace worked hard. During the Christmas in her third year, her mother died. The official statement said it was from a hard hit to the head that caused a clot in her brain but Grace always suspected her father for the cause.
Her father had taken to drinking even more. During this time, Grace learned to become self sufficient so that she wouldn't have to ever depend on him. She worked hard at school and tried as much as possible to avoid seeing her father. She would stay at friend's houses, like Jac Biggerstall or Girty Hubbles who were two of her best friends at school, for long periods over holidays or else make sure her schedule would keep him away from her whenever possible. She could get herself around well enough without his help that by her fifth year Grace was just about living off her own steam, except for the fact that he was the one with the money and he was her father.
She scored high results in her O.W.L.s though: 1 A, 4 E's and 3 o's

Grace was well proud of her results and shared her glory with her friends, even though she didn't share the full nature of her results because on the whole she did a lot better than most everyone else. She even did well despite knowing that her father was ill in hospital. Grace wanted to go to him, she wanted to tell him how well she was doing and that he should be proud of her.
When she did Henry Boggleworth (her boyfriend), Girty and Jac went with her for moral support. To Grace's great distress, during this meeting with her father Mr Marks had a heart attack and died. Grace took it very hard, harder then she should have, and, even though she knew she shouldn't shed tears for this man and even though she didn’t like to show her fragility she cried for a long time after that.
Bouncing back from that, Grace became a prefect in her sixth year and Head Girl in her final year, a position she was so proud of and proved her worth for. She was also the captain of the Hufflepuff quidditch team as well as the Keeper, a skill she developed into a love. She worked constantly to show that she deserves those positions of authority.
When she left school she had done exceedingly well in her N.E.W.T.s: 2 E's and 6 O's

When Grace graduated, she joined a prestigious line of witches and wizards that had played Quidditch professionally. She was lucky enough to be spotted by a talent scout at her final match for Hufflepuff and was offered a position on the Chudley Canon team as their new goal keeper. She took it with great humility and thankfulness and trained hard to prove that they had not made a mistake.
While she played Quidditch, Grace got the crazy idea to start a restaurant in Hogsmeade, something small and so the seed for the Majestic Bird was planted and nurtured until it flowered into the quaint little restaurant it is today. It was a month after the opening that Boggleworth, her boyfriend from her fifth year, appeared after having run off before their graduation. He said that he came to tell her that he did love her very much but that they couldn't be together. Grace was but recovered by throwing herself in her work. It was there that she that she met another man, a few years older than she called Jonas, who was very patient with her. He waited nearly two years to tell her how he felt and once he did, they were happy together for a while.
............
A month after Grace’s twenty first birthday, she began to notice a change in Jonas. He became distant and distracted but Grace tried to convince herself that she was simply stressed from the amount of games they were play and how hard coach was riding on them to practice. However soon she began to realize that, though they loved each other, it wasn’t enough. So they separated. It was hard for Grace for a while but not as hard as it got: during an impromptu Quidditch game with her and some friends, a foul bludger was hit her way and it slammed her into the goal post she had been protecting: bones in her leg were shattered, she fell off her broom and cracked her skull and was unconscious for nearly a week. Once she had woken, which the doctors where concerned she may not, Grace had visitors every day: the Biggerstalls and Hubbles came often, so did her team mates and coach, and loads of other friends. They all avoided talking about it except for Daniel Hubbles and Jac’s mother, who was a nurse. She explained that due to the extent of Grace’s injuries she would not be able to play again. Dan offered Grace to position as Flying Professor at Hogwarts and so, after a bout of depression, Grace got out of hospital, moved back to Hogsmeade to be close to her restaurant, and began teaching at Hogwarts.
