Personality: Dia is a reserved person, some times rather shy, but always friendly and approachable. She has found that for her previously nomadic life style, that suited best and now that she was in contact with people all the time she has had to become slightly more communicative when she would rather sit in the corner and watch. She is very observant and understands how people work, how their emotions can run their lives and is always open to listening, helping, comforting those in need. Not many know this of her though, for she truly is a quiet creature.
Appearance: She is tall, approximately 5 foot 8, and has a slender frame. Her long blond hair curls about bounces about her face. Soft pale skin and dark brown eyes shine through her radiant smile, rarely seem but always appreciated as that shooting star. She wears elegant clothing and always pay particular attention to her outward appearance.
History: As was mentioned before, Dia is muggle born, with lawyers for parents. She loved her life there but was soon whisked away to a magical school, Hogwarts. Her parents were surprised and shocked to say the least but after they had recovered from the initial shock, and after reviving Mrs Owen they were supportive and overly helpful, as worried frightened parents often are. So she attended Hogwarts and on top of good grades, Dia formed an attachment to a certain Astronomy teacher. This was the beginning of her love for Astronomy. However after harsh words from the said teacher Dia realised that she had in fact gotten over the teacher and had come to love the subject. This was her turning point, if you would, and as soon as she got the opportunity to study Astronomy, she leapt at the offer. And once another opportunity presented itself she took it. This is how she came to be in Spain after her studies.
After a mere year in Spain, Dia travelled, going from place to places, from there to Italy to Romania to The Middle East and so on. She felt restless and unfulfilled in all those other countries but she found one place that was different, one place where her heart could sour and where she was happy. Egypt. For Dia, Egypt was more diverting then Hogwarts. It, as Hogwarts had done, had weaved a magic spell on her that enchanted her and seemed to keep her safe. A false sense of security and a messy incident involving some rather unscrupulous vampires, Dia moved again and found herself back at Hogwarts.
Dia has studies Astronomy extensively. She studied before she left London and while travelling she studied the skies and all that time developed her own quirky way of doing things. Her unconventional methods of teaching and her excitement for her subject make her an excellent teacher. She has once again made her home at Hogwarts, enjoying all the splendours of teaching: the wonderful skies, the opportunity to talk about her favourite thing in all the world none stop, and the opportunity for her to pass on her knowledge.
After a rollercoaster relationship with the oh so charming Professor Daniel Hubbles, the two were married in a private ceremony in Egypt with only close family and friends. |

Relationship Chart Entangled This is reserved for special people. Though Dia is still young, she dreams of a family of her own like she saw in her parents. Their relationship had always seemed perfect and this has left a marked effect on her idea of romance. So since she can remember she has had a someone special in her life that changes as often as the weather. Regardless of whether it was long or not or is now dead or now coming along, if you have ever had any sort of romance with Dia, you belong here. Friends Dia has a few close relations and terms them as friends. These know her on a more personal level then the average college or student. Always greeted with a smile and the best conversations ranging from the intellectual and stimulating to the playful and nonsensical ones too, these can often be expected from Dia on a daily basis. Fellow Teachers, etc If you are a teacher at Hogwarts or a member of the staff you will know Dia’s sprightly ways and would too know Dia a little better then the average person. If this is an adequate description of your relationship with Dia, then you belong here. Students Astronomy classes are usually late at night when the skies are clear and even when they are not. So Dia gets to meet a variety of sleepy and grumpy students. If you are in her class, or even if you have merely had a talk with her, you belong here. Foe Antagonism, aggression, abrasiveness, and generally sarcasm. All these and more are what people can expect from Dia if you fall under this group. Friend (in a manner of speaking)
Details: When Dia and Quinn were at school together, they were, what you could, friends. Quinn was always stand-offish but Dia persisted and the two spent much time together. After school however, all ties were cut between them when Dia left for Spain and Quinn set into her Hit Witch training. They have not spoken or corresponded since.

Details: Bree met Dia at her first breakfast at Hogwarts. The two hit it off immediately but have not become better friends due to Dia always being somewhere where Bree is not.

Girty Hubbles Fellow Teachers; Extended Family
Details
Girty and Professor Owen (as she once was) have always had a strong student teacher relationship through the years at Hogwarts it was not however until Girty’s brother Dan fell for Dia their relationship went slightly pear shaped.
Girty had seen many of Dan’s previous girlfriends come and go, every other week there would be someone else confessing their love for Dan while all he could do was sit and smile. However there was something different with this time as Dan loved Dia and she loved him.
Now anyone would think a sister would be happy her brother had found happiness and in a random way Girty was…but not only did she know he would do something stupid and end up hurting Dia but also Dia was taking Dan away from her and for this Girty began to resent the woman.
Eventually Dan did do something stupid and Girty had to put up with his moaning and her heart bleed for Professor Owen and the pain she must have been going through. But when Dan and Dia got back together again Girty had no idea where she stood yet again, she had but up with Dan being moody for so long and Dia made him happy and for Girty that is all she wanted for her brother.
On the wedding day in Egypt Girty rather begrudgingly gave her blessing to the happy couple and was even the one leading the applause at the end of the ceremony. Now with a sister-in-law and a new role with in the school Girty knows she needs to get on with Dia more then before and with great effort she is trying, although Girty being Girty would always have her moments.

From a kiss, a slap quickly followed by another kiss to a whirlwind holiday in Egypt it lead to the two falling in love! However work place romances are always a hard thing to keep running and with the stressed atmosphere of their jobs and Dan simply being a prat things went a tiny bit wrong.

Months of broken hearts, crying and in Dan’s case a few one night stands the two of them struggled through life to the point when they kept from the rest of the world by isolating themselves to their rooms…even threatening to leave the school. Neither of them wanted to talk or even look at each other, but the heartbreaking thing about the whole situation was that they still loved each other!

With the Persuasion from one of Dan’s least favourite person who just also happened to be Dia’s best friend Dan agreed to stay, but they contrived a plan to get Dia out in the world. This plan was to set her up with Sebastian (Dan’s cousin) As much as it pained Dan to do it; he had to find a way to let Dia live even if it meant it being without him!
However it did not help that with spending time with Sebastian Dia realised that she only wanted to be with Dan and it was as if destiny called for him the couple met in the starlight street where they fell into each others arms, there love burning deeper and stronger then ever before!
It’s so clear now that you are all that I have!
I have no fear cause you are all that I have!
Now they are man and wife, deeply in love and starting a new chapter in their life! But time will only tell if Dan has truly changed and whether or not their love will be able to weather all obstacles that get in their way!
