Name: Professor Algernon Moncrieff Position: Divination teacher, as well as head of Ravenclaw house Bio: Having graduated with full marks from Beaubatons school of Magic only ten years ago, Algernon is a young man, full of energy and hope for his students. He is 1/4 centaur, and thus is blessed with the ability to read the stars, but is completly human in appearance. After graduating from school, he spent a few years traveling the globe, learning about different methods of divination, and while he can See using traditional methods such as tea leaves and crystal balls he prefers to teach on a wider scope, intent on the scientific aspects of Divination rather than just the practical ones. Although he wishes desperately to learn more about his Centaur heritage, as well as their own methods of Seeing, the Centaurs hate him deeply for his half-breed status, and so he flatly refuses to enter the Forbidden Forest, with the knowlege that they would kill him if he did. Having been permantly banned from traveling to his homeland for unknown reasons, he has decided he would be at home at Hogwarts, and as Ravenclaw is the closest house to his own at Beaubatons, he wishes to head it. Brief Bio:
A native to Germany, Rainer graduated two years early from The Zauberkraft Institute, second in his year only to Erich Aubry, an especially gifted seer and his best friend at the time. Lauded always for his innate talent in charms and conjuration, losing this honor to Aubry represented a serious blow to Rainerfs pride and confidence the result of which culminated with their falling out. Unable to reconcile his own feelings of ineptitude and his more than friendly affections for Erich, Rainer subsequently loses his magic and spends the following decades living as a squib in muggle Prague.
Born of muggle parents, Rainer, at the age of 103, has no surviving family. In an act of desperation at the age of 19, Rainer attempted to restore his powers through questionable scientific means. These experiments failed and left him with a body that will not age and, as a result, he remains terrified of making emotional ties with anyone he might outlive. Despite his youthful appearance, Rainer makes a loud show of his true age and insists he be treated with the respect it invokes. Without prompting of any kind, Rainerfs powers returned in his 96th year and he quickly reentered the world he left some 80 years earlier. An admittedly huge fan of 1920fs American swing dancing, Rainer, to this day, loathes the divinatory arts with a fierce passion.
His accent is completely indecipherable.

Brief Bio: Dara is a bit of an eccentric person, she loves her job very much, though as such she is very strict in the classroom. She has a vast array of pets that she has acquired over the years, some of which very few know of and fewer know what they really are. She is rather quiet and keeps to herself but if a student shows exceptional talent with animals she tries to give them a little extra attention so that their talent can grow.

Brief Bio:
Born to a fisherman father and herbalist-healer witch mother, Eithne spent her adolescence on Inis Óirr, smallest of the Aran Islands on Ireland's western coast, learning magic from her mother and making herself useful by transfiguring simple everyday objects (seaweed into nets, seaweed into boat tar... there's a lot of seaweed on Inis Óirr). After graduating from the Scoil dar dáta Draíocht of S. Ireland, this raven-haired lass left the Emerald Isle to travel around the world, eventually finding herself in the 'jewel of the crown' - India. With a predilection for curry and lavish colours that her native islands lacked, Eithne remained in South Asia until she perfected the art of transfiguration, from turning contaminated water into chai to transforming corpses floating down the Ganges during monsoon season into funeral pyres of flaming flowers and coloured incense smoke.
Having spent extended periods of meditation in India’s Gir Forest sanctuary among the nearly extinct Asiatic Lion, Eithne is also a registered animagus. [Can be found in the Ministry's registry under "Wild Cats", "Lions" and "Panthera leo"]
This is her first return to Western Europe in over a decade and she looks forward to a homemade meal of potatoes and pudding.

Rebecca is a very respected person, she strives to do what she can for the younger generation and always teaches them what they need in life when it comes to Quidditch: Enthusiasm, consideration, fair-play and encouragement.
She knows when to set the boundaries, and the ones who completely dismiss everything she does for them, are the ones who suffer for their actions.
Rebecca is very polite, and gives everybody a second chance. She would be a perfect teacher.

Brief bio: Went to Hogwarts in slytherin house. After hogwarts went and became an Auror. Used to be a death eater(after auror days) then betrayed Voldemort destroying a lot of death eaters on the way out. Spent time in Azcaban for illeagally importing dragons to London. 31 years old and has traveled the world 5 times. expert in dark arts and potions. Also has skills with spirit summoning. A good gamekeeper.

Born on a remote farmstead on the outskirts of Rome in 1962, Apronia ran free amid her parent´s horses and cattle as soon as she could stand upright. At age 6, her father taught her the skills of farming. Hard labor tempered both body and spirit; Apronia never learned to play until, at age 11, she received notice that she was to attend on of Italy´s minor (now-defunct) schools of witchcraft and wizardry. Apronia´s work-ethic and innate intelligence accorded her intellectual honors, but it sadly became apparent early on that her magical abilities were weak, nigh useless. Still, she perservered in her schooling until the taunts of her peers became unbearable. This social isolation forced her to learn to defend herself against jeering pureblood gangs, intensified her solemn seriousness and adding a garnish of cynical causticity to her speech.
She left Italy entirely at age 19, journeying to the Orient, where she finally settled at a temple in Japan. The monks gave her the Japanese name of ¨Tetsu¨, and taught her the principles of energy, Zen gardening and Zen flower arranging. Her cladestine lover, a lapsed monk, also instructed her in Zen archery. Several years later, this liason was discovered and both were expelled from the monastary.
Apronia then travelled to France, attending the prestigious ¨Theorie de la Magie¨ PhD program at the Universite de Magie de la France. Her thesis revolved around the crossbreeding of Muggle and magical animals for the creation of new breeds (she managed to cross a species of Muggle fruit fly (Drosophila melanogaster) with the magical species Rowenaria copulentus (which secrete in saliva a substance which causing tree flowering and fruit production that is also a poison to humans) to produce a hybrid whose saliva contains the ripening agent without the poison), although the program also provided her with extensive knowledge of the basis of all magics. This program was also attended in past years by such historical figures as Albus Dumbledore, Hermione Granger, and Gaius Flavius.
After graduation, for three years Apronia has been seeking a subject suitable for further experimentation, and believes she has found it in the species Macropus rufus, the red kangaroo.
Because of her Italian heritage and persecution in school, Apronia is proud and slightly arrogant, convinced of her intellectual superiority. She also is rather bellicose by nature, and enjoys roughhousing with large animals to a nearly suicidal degree. She is slightly obsessive-compulsive about gardens and grounds due to her Japanese training. A Zen Buddhist, she has taken vows to be a vegetarian and never to intentionally harm another living creature (although she regards her experimentation on animals as intellectually excusable). When enraged, she swears extensively in Italian, Japanese and French, and physically assaults trees. She is also given to quoting ancient Roman texts and challenging those who insult her to olive-oil wrestling matches.
Apronia has olive skin, an unruly mass of rough black curls, and deep brown eyes. Because of her rough living, she is short and whipcord thin, with significant musculature and no body fat. Her curves are not pronounced and she takes little pleasure in feminine frippery. She has a disturbing fondness for leather and wearing her gigantic bow strapped to her back. She would never admit it, but she secretly enjoys wearing kimonos, and drinks copious amounts of tea, necessitating frequent trips to the loo.

I am Cain. I am an adorable orphened little centaur, who has recently been rescued from the forbidden forest by our dear Gameskeeper. I am going to live in the castle and wander around being cute. Also, am going to help Algernon translate his centaur divination book. I don't know exactly what I should be classified as though. But I would like my name to be a nice shade of blue, please. Hurrah!

The trees feed, helplessly, on whatever is left of the long dead body of Erich Aubry, sate themselves on his fury and grow stronger for it. Their eyes too, unfurling as new leaves and green antennae, open to the sky above. The forest wakes.
The disembodied mind of the German seer Erich Aubry, who disappeared at his peak some eighty years ago. The Forbidden Forest is now under his influence, suffused with the remains of his body that were turned to water by {Rainer Langley Freundschaft} a historically unnamed magician.
