The fun of having a planned plotline for the ENTIRE year, not little ones that last... a week.

I agree that that does take the fun out of it. I mean, that lethifold one with everyone down by lake wasn't planned, and look how great that was. It was so much fun - and I felt pretty accomplished knowing I hadn't planned it. All the twists and details were totally spontaneous.
And the ones that last a week... just depends on how fast you post. If people are enjoying a plot, they get involved and move it along to put variety into it.
I think it takes away the meaning of RPing if you plan it all.
