First Name: Elinor. Middle Name: Abigail. Surname: Rook. Nickname: Ellie.
Age: 18. Birthday: October 2nd, 2087. Blood: Halfblood. Nationality: 100% Irish. Year: 7th year. House: Hufflepuff. Titles: Hufflepuff Quidditch Captain/Chaser & Head Girl.
Boggart: Darkness. Patronus: Dragonfly. Wand: At 9 & 1/4 inches with a cherry tree wood base and a bowtruckle finger nail as a core, Ellie's wand is the perfect wand for her. It is flexible and reliable, but it gives an extra spring every once and a while. Living in the country of Laos as she left her parents for her first year, she obtained her wand from a lesser known maker in Laos. However, her wand has always been quite faithful, never letting her down, and getting quite upset and testy if it doesn't work correctly. Celebrity: Michelle Trachtenberg. Hair Color: medium brown. Hair Style: Long, cascading waves. Eye Color: Blue/aqua. Skin Tone: Golden-tan from living some many place close to the sun. Body Type: 5'5'', 130 lbs, not to skinny, not to plump. Clothing & Make-up: From traveling to so many places and being exposed to so many cultures, Ellie's wardrobe has some very interesting pieces. Thats not to say that she is going to walk around in a turban or anything. No, but she mixes normal with exotic to create a very different style, one that she wears with pride and color. Ellie wears her make-up pretty and light with a lot of pinks and purples, and the usually smoky eyeshadow. Normal: If one word could describe Ellie it would be normal. She doesn't have outstanding courage or amazing study skills. She is definitely not the sweetest kindest person, and yet not overly cunning or vicious. Shes a normal girl who responds to her surroundings in normal teenage ways. She always tries her hardest. Things don't always go her way, but she always ends up getting herself out of trouble and out of harms way. Ellie is naturally kind, she tries very hard to keep her tempetr, but somethings its just so hard. Again, she is completely average. Sometimes being average is harder then being stupid or special.
Real: Ellie over reacts sometimes, and tends to be a little critical of people. Ellie isn't a shy person, well, only when it comes to boys. She gets silly and blushes. It's quite comical. She doesn't know how to talk to boys. With Bray, it took her forever to talk to him and tell him that she liked him. However, we all know how that ended, with a complete lack of communication. So as it stands, Ellie is still stuck on how to tall to and interact with boys her age. Ellie happens to be a little on the sarcastic side, but she really doesn't mean for it to offend people. It's mainly used to get a laugh. Ellie would like to be funny, but she really just ends up saying something completely corny. Even though Ellie isn't shy, she happens to blush a lot, just because she does little things that she regrets saying and doing, causing her to get a little embarrassed. Ellie doesn't pretend to be the perfect little girl. She knows she had flaws, and as much as she might try to cover them up, she realizes its probably a lost cause. She is real, really real, she won't try and hide anything from you. What you see is what you get.
Well-balanced: However, Ellie's virtues and vices are balanced out quite nicely. She has a very friendly demeanor, and isn't nasty. She is very likable, but the are always those people that get on your nerves. Ellie is very spontaneous. She has a short temper, but a strong will. She is a jumble of everything put together, and it gets a tad bit confusing sometimes. She tries to balance everything out, as a balanced Libra should. However, life throws you a curve ball or a low punch every once and a while, and Ellie takes these in stride. She blows her top, or breaks down, but she always recovers. She tries, she really tries. Pre-Ellie: Ellie comes from a well rounded family of half-blood parentage, both her parents being half-bloods themselves. Her mother and father both attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, her mother, Sara, being a Hufflepuff and her father, Peter, being put in Slytherin. (On a side note, her father never quite agreed with the hat's snakey decision. Put in the green and silver house for his quick wittedness, he had no other Slytherin traits and often got into fights with his own housemates.) Nevertheless, the pair were good friends till their graduation. Both stemming from the country of Ireland, they both went back home and found each other again and soon also found love.
And so the family attempted to settle down. Attempted I say, for her father was a salesman, blessed with quick-wits and good speech, for a rather large cauldron company. They tugged the poor man around, placing him here and there, and then here again. Sara a apothecary of her own sorts was able to move around and keep up her work. By the time Ellinor Abigail Rook was born they had lived in seven countries.
Childhood: Ellinor herself was born in Tazmania. Her mother and father both picked a name that they adored. Her mother picked Ellinor and her father picked Abigail. It wasn't until a few years later they regretted their sequence of the names giving their daughter the initials E.A.R.
Ellinor, now insisting on being called Ellie, grew up in an eclectic way. Every few months the Rooks would be on the move again. By the time Ellie was ten she had lived on every continent at least twice. However, the young girl never grew tired of moving. Her father, crazy in his own ways, and her mother, nurturing and simple, created a lovely balance for a young girl to grow up with. Ellie retained many traits of her father and her mother becoming a melting pot personality.
At the age of eleven, Ellinor knew that she would be starting school. Her parents never let it show, but they were worried to which school she would be accepted. Moving around as much as they did, there could be no guarantee of what school Ellie would get her letter from. The letter came, Hogwarts on the seal. Her parents breathed a sigh of relief. Ellinor held the letter, beaming, her father clapped her on the back saying, "Darn good school."
School of Magic - Years 1- 4: And off Ellinor Abigail went. She left her parents from the wonderful country of Laos. From there, every years she would leave from and come home to different countries. Her parents often sent her postcards and little trinkets from the countries they were currently living. Ellie missed her parents, but for once it was nice to have a stable place to come back to everyday and not have to pack every three or four weeks. Hogwarts was just the stability the girl needed to get through her awkward teenage years which, although she is now fifteen, have only just begun.
School of Magic - Year 5: Ellie's fifth year at Hogwarts was a great one. Granted, the work load was absolutely outrageous, but she got through it. She joined the quidditch team, becoming the important Hufflepuff seeker. She made some really great friends, Felicity Locke and Bradyn Reed. And some, not so great friends, Ashton Laurent and Erys Grace. Ellie even found romance with Bray Reed. They were perfect for each other, sarcastic and cute. Everything seemed great, until exam time came.
The stress of exams was a lot. But the s tress of finding out that Bray had been hiding a secret from her was too much for Ellie. Almost by accident, Ellie learned that Bray was an animagus, something he kept completely hidden from her. She didn't know what to think and they both separated themselves from each other, causing their relationship to strain. Fay and Ellie's relationship also went down hill because of the fight. However, Ellie did find some enjoyment by hanging out with one Lucas McGuff. The silly jester Gryffindor knew just want to do to make the Hufflepuff smile.
The summer came and Ellie joined her parents cruising along the Amazon River. It gave Ellie a lot of time to think, and a lot of time to forget. She returned for her sixth year, a newly crowned prefect and continuing her role on the quidditch team as seeker, but still avoiding the boy that caused her to blush so easily. With all the strange things happening at Hogwarts, will there relationship survive, or will it just be to much to forget? And what about Ellie's new friendships? Tune in to find out!
School of Magic - Year 6: Her sixth year now almost over, Ellie has been through a lot. She and Bray never seemed to overcome their problems. Talking never seemed to work. Tragedy was the only thing that could save them, and even that failed. Likewise, Ellie and Fay's relationship never got back on two feet either. Ellie found she didn't have time to work on the relationship, something she regrets. Both seemed to fade into the distance.
Ellie was granted prefect for her sixth year, so added to her studies (which only doubled) she had a lot on her plate. Ellie went into a sort of hiding through her sixth year. She continued to play on the quidditch team, doubling for chaser when she was needed, only doubled the practice time she needed. Hogwarts began to change. Ellie got bad feelings, and started having bad dreams. She lost a lot of sleep. Her beloved Professor was married and became Headmaster. Though the change was good for him, but Ellie would miss classes everyday with him.
However, months went by, and the strange feeling Ellie had about the castle grew. She noticed the stairs acting up, the owls acting strange, portraits changing. Ellie's fears of something strange happening in the castle were confirmed when she was attacked by a couple suits of armor. Fighting with Professor Hubble by her side, Ellie survived the attack, a few bumps and bruises along the way. After the attack, the castle started to get worse. Ellie found herself changing, she couldn't help it. Something was invading her mind.
Ellie became scared of everything, the dreams that once haunted her mind became real. She became a cry baby, everything affecting her emotionally. She found herself crying about everything, feeling like everything was her fault. Meeting Professor Hubbles in the dark with Sarie and Kristiana, Ellie found herself completely devoid of her nerve. The once brave girl was a complete baby. With the help of her loved Professor turned Headmaster, Ellie got through the darkness enough to pull everything together. Through now it seemed Ellie was a ticking time bomb, ready to explode at any moment. Ellie knew she couldn't handle this by herself. Something was wrong with the castle. She called Fay and Bray to meet her at the Three Broomsticks to see what they had to say, but something was really wrong. They had changed too. Nothing was the same. The year was winding down, and Ellie knew that everything was about to come to a head. She was waiting and expecting the worst.
However, the worst was held off by one of the best things that could happen to Ellie. In a strange turn of events, with a picture involved, suddenly a young Dan Hubbles came out of no where and swept Ellie off her feet. The strapping young lad, full of youth and vigor was everything Ellie had ever dreamed of. He was able to give her everything she dreamed of and it didn't take long for Ellie to fall in love with him. Little did she know but it was all just part of his plan. This Dan was made of dark magic and was trying to use Ellie for whatever plan he seemed to have. Ellie was in his trap.
While all this was going on, more good things happen in light of the strange happenings at Hogwarts. Ellie was not only award the esteemed position of Quidditch captain, but she was also handed the title of Head Girl. Her loyalty to the Headmaster in times where the politics of magic were knocking on the front door seemed to gain Ellie the position. However, with young Dan always at her side, it seemed that the job was harder than it looked.
With that, the year came to a close, not before Ellie came into close contact with some dark wizards in the Forbidden forest, almost dying, only to be saved by the newest Hubbles on the staff. Ellie left Hogwarts, leaving her complicated sixth year behind. She returned to her parents and was quickly whisked away to live in Rome for the summer. Four hundred meatballs later, and no sign of her love, Dan, Ellie returned to Hogwarts, to her seventh year, and to her duties as Head girl, rather annoyed.
School of Magic - Year 7: Her life went on, and there was no sign of Dan. Ellie's heart was slowly breaking, but a chance meeting brought along someone she didn't want to see, Bray, but also finally brought along someone she had been longing to see, Dan.
Finally, Ellie had some reassurance that Dan was real. He had to be, otherwise, how could he ask her out of the castle. Ellie would meet him in Hogsmeade. Ellie waited patiently, but soon she gave into her fears. Dan was not coming. Instead, the 18 year decided to do the only thing she could do, drink copious amounts of alcohol. Who was to find her drowning her sorrows, but Dan Hubbles, Headmaster, the older. The two drank their sorrows away, and talked about life, and Ellie spilled all her fears. Her fears of not having a path to follow, her fears that her dreams were all failing, that she couldn't trust herself anymore.
In a gesture of goodwill, Dan granted her a wish to run away, and they found themselves on a beach, waves crashing upon the sand. In the ambiance of the sea and sand, Ellie and Dan found themselves wrapped around each other, romantically and passionately. It didn't take long for Ellie and Dan to find their way to Dan's child hood home, and Dan's bed.
The next morning, the clothing scattered across the floor gave away the events of the night before. Ellie went downstairs to get some water, and ran into none other than Girty Hubbles, they were caught.
Going back to school was difficult, Ellie was no longer the happy go lucky head girl. She was angry, sad, and couldn't sleep. Her insomnia drove her crazy. In her bad mood, there grew a light. Her fellow head boy, Harrison Greg, someone Ellie could always count on to make her feel better and feel special, asked her out. Ellie, taken by surprised, said yes. Ellie found herself at the Hogshead, surrounded by a group of people she rather wouldn't have seen.
Dia, Dan Hubble's wife had an announcement. She was pregnant. There would be a little Hubbles. Ellie couldn't believe it, but she was so happy. She knew that all their troubles would be over. Ellie wouldn't have to worry about Dan, he would have his hands full. Ellie finally could hold her head up high for the first time in weeks. And now she knew she could fall back on someone, Harrison.
No one would guess what would happened next...

Other: Ellie hates when kids her own age call her Ellinor. It just doesn't suit her. Teachers and older people are welcome to use it respectfully. Just like using her full first name, Ellie hate using her initials on anything. I mean would you want a backpack that says E.A.R. on it? [/font][/blockquote]
