Julia walked outside and down to the lake, fuming. This was the worst night of her life... she had lost her house 100 points, and gotten detention. That was not a good sign. This sux she thought. "Kiss my ass Professor Algernon" she whispered, skipping a rock into the water, when she heard someone say something...

Having watched the Gryffindor previously being punished, Thom had chosen to seek her out. Leaving the castle, he saw a distant shape down by the lake, their strides vexing and exaggerated in anger. He swore he could almost see the storm cloud over her head trying to keep up.
"Oi, Gryffindor!" he shouted with a grin. "Bet you're popular now!" he jabbed a thumb inside the castle doors, to the glittering ruby hourglass of the Gryffindors. He made his way down to her.

Keifer was walking by the lake when he heard a Gryffindor say 'Kiss my ass' he laughed and walked over, seeing a hufflepuff join the gryffindor. He walked over to them and heard what the hufflepuff said "You sure you dont belong in slytherin with a mouth like that?"

Thom ran a hand through his hair, ruffling it. "Ah I was just kidding," he said warmly. "I was going to lighten the mood, but I couldn't help myself." he grinned apologetically. "I'm Thom, by the way."

"Ahhhh, small brawl in the corridors last night," he said under his breath. "Was a bit harsh in all truth - she gave a bit of cheek to Moncrieff and Addis and managed to loose her house a good hundred points," he sucked in air, as if feeling the blow. "Shame really, since one of your Ravenclaw mates got away with impersationating a prefect at one in the morning!" he laughed, thrilled at the momory.

Thom raised his eyebrows, then threw his head back and laughed heartily. "Ravenclaw words if ever I heard them! But I know what you mean, Moncrieff is a little more managable than Addis. Cept I think he favours his own house a little too much over others. Wish I could get away with murder and recieve points for it afterwards..."

"A little? I think you mean a lot! Dip addis in chocolate and throw him to the lesbians... But im sure he'd enjoy that" he laughed. Keifer looked around "I want to feed him to the blasted squid, i know how its hunger can be... Addis would probably poison it though... either that or it wont eat him i've heard it doesnt eat crap"

Thom continued to laugh in amazement at Keifer. "With an imagination and passion like yours, it looks like you're not one to cross." he complimented. He glanced at Julia, still stoney faced. "Poor girl..." he whispered.

"My imagination runs away with me sometimes" he laughed. "Wonder if she's okay" Keifer walked over to her and put an arm comfertingly around her shoulders "Dont worry about it... Addis is a moron. He needs shooting!" he said to her "Dont you agree Thom?"

Thom nodded in agreement, giving Julia a playful punch on the shoulder. "Yeah, don't worry bout it. You're Gryffindor mates won't care - they're brave enough to take it." he winked.
Turning back to Keifer he jerked his head towards the castle. "And where were you on your way to before you bumped into us?"

"Haha!" Thom raised his hands in surrender. "Julia and I - accquiantances in passing, although I admit she's a star! I think anyone would second that." he nodded to her in admireation.
Thom looked up at the sun in thought, one eye closed to the glare, the other squinting. "Good day, eh?" he slipped off his coat and sat himself down on the grass. "Well then Keifer, if you're just walking then I suppose you can offer some long-term company."

"Aquaintances? That what you call it these days?" Keifer laughed and looked from Julia to Thom. He smiled "I could offer some long-term company." He smiled again "I offer long-term company and frienship to the both of you!" he laughed.
