Algernon grasped Erika's hand, pulling her to her feet. "Good. Alright. Mr. Moen, you'd better get up at some point or you'll miss the comet."

Achingly, and with unstable knees, Thom dragged himself to his feet. "Comet? Oh yeah..." Thom stared out of the huge overhead glass, only stars visible from this distance without a telescope.
Gving Erika one last look, he wandered over to the queue.

Erika grapsed the professor's hand holding on to steady herself then walked over to the window. She saw Thom give her a look, and grinned evilly. 'This isn't over yet. Moen!' she mouthed.

Thom returned the cunning smirk. "Ditto." he replied out loud.

Erika just rolled her eyes. "You'll never learn. Will you?" she scoffed.

Helia smiled and skittered over to the telescope. She peered down into the lens and adjusted until... "Merlin..." she gasped. The comet was simply breathtaking... for a mass of ice and rock that is. She giggled softly. Something about watching the comet gave her a very light-headed and happy feeling. She stepped back from the telescope and just looked up at the sky. She was still feeling very silly, but she supposed a large part of that was cause of the coffee.

Erika walked over to Helia much more interested in seeing the comet than fighting. She tapped Helia on the shoulder. "Let me see"

She indeed stepped away, still feeling quite euphoric from her gaze at the comet. She traipsed back over to her book bag and sat down, snickering like a maniac to herself. She laid back, staring at the sky, still giggling oddly.

Still staring out the window at the stars, Thom tried to make out the constellations, but could spot none amoung the millions of twinkling specs. "Are there any constellations out tonight, too, Professor?" Thom asked, crossing his arms.

Erika stepped up to the telescope to see for herself. She gasped in awe. The comet was beautiful.

The stars were whispering to him again.
It had been a while, he'd been distracted by Rainer and Erich, but there they were but he couldn't quite make out what they were saying until --
He looked sharply at Thom, the voices fading into nothing. It took a moment for him to realize what he had said, he shook his head, to clear it. "Oh. Oh, yes, of course." He turned his head back to the stars, pointing up to trace a shape. "The Unicorn is particularly bright tonight."

A strange look was cast over Moncrieff's features, and Thom stared at him curiously for a moment. He averted his gaze quickly as the teacher snapped back to reality and began to explain the Unicorn.
Thom leaned closer to Moncrieff and follow his finger, taking a moment to identify the horse-like shape. "Wow..." he murmured, facinated. Thom like unicorns, particularly their highly priced horns.

"Is it just me, or is he pointing to the forest?" she asked, noticing how seemingly poised one hoof stood over a spot in the forest that she remembered being a clearing. "Do you think he's pointing to another unicorn?" she asked a bit airily.

Thom raised his brow with interest at Halo's theory. "You think so?" he look down at the trees, and indeed there trees seemed to spread out just a little at that part of the horizon.

"Could be...or... he could be pointing to something else..." replied Erika.
