Algernon's Infirmary Room

[Prof. Algernon Moncrieff]

Algernon woke up.

He sat up, looking around the room wildly for a moment. You'd have thought someone would have lit a lamp-- oh. He felt the warmth of the sun shining on his face, and lifted a hand to sheild his unseeing eyes. More damage to them certainly wouldn't help... It was quiet, the students --

They were screaming in pain, Algernon lying, unable to move for the fear of it, the magic in the air. They were screaming, and then...

They did it, it was over, the burn on his hand proved that. It was flat now, painful as he ran his fingers over it, but still otherwise, the fire of it gone. And he must have been move here, to sleep... He wondered vaguely where Kieron was, last he remembered he was sleeping beside him, and then Algy must have fallen asleep, and then...

There was a lion, dead, surrounded by trees, and then he was everywhere, in everything, and everything was... the eyes on him, Kieron watching, a kind smile on his face, and it laughed somewhere behind his ear. "The harder they fall..." he muttered, his eyes tightly shut, unsure of what he even meant.

[Kim Rivers]

Kim waited. She didnt want to go in there just yet but she wanted to know if he was alright. Besides.. she'd got him chocolate. She knocked lightly and waited to see if there would be a reply.

[Brian Chase]

Brian was walking up to the room. Then he saw Kim at the door.

[Kim Rivers]

She turned and saw brian. "Oh.. hi" she said kind of surprised he was here. She turned back to the door and opened it slightly, she poked her head through. "Professor?" She said

[Prof. Algernon Moncrieff]

Algernon looked up toward the voice, shaking away the confusion. "Kim? Is that you?" He called, with a slight smile. "Come in." He listened for a moment, seeming to detect the other boy there as well. "But.. just you please, Ms. Rivers, I'm not up to a group of you just yet."

[Brian Chase]

Bria stood there holding a get well soon card. "You would think they would have just the right card, but no they don't" Brian thought to himself."

[Kim Rivers]

She turned to brian "I'll catch up with you and helia by the lake later" she said and walked into the infirmary closing the door behind her.
"Hi. How you feeling sir? I brought you some chocolates" She said putting them on the table beside his bed and sitting down on the chair.

[Jerred Boneman]

Jerred walked to the door and saw Brian. He drew in a long steady breath before he spoke. "So, why're you here, Chase?"

[Prof. Algernon Moncrieff]

Algernon laughed, reaching out a hand to pat the box of chocolates as if to verify its existance. "Thanks. I'm alright, barring the very strange dreams..." He looked troubled for a moment, then shrugged. "How's life among the living?"

[Brian Chase]

"Jerred, I'm here because i want Prof. Algernon to know that I don't hate him." Brian open the door slightly and layed the card on the ground.

[Kim Rivers]

"Strange. People are walking around as if nothings happened... While all.. well Jerred and Brian.. along with myself are blaming ourselves. Which to be honest.. It sort of is.. Well mine. But its okay, the teachers still seem to be worried.. And i dont blame them. They dont think its over.. I can.. see it.. and sort of feel it. Its not really over.. is it? Ive found something strange though, if i ever felt lonely or the thoughts came back, the stars, they sort of remove the feeling" She said in thought for a minute "I couldnt read the stars before this incident.. or sense or feel anything.. But now i can.. Sometimes.. this might sound crazy.. But sometimes its like they talk to me" she said shaking her head. "I told you it would sound crazy.. And you? Hows bed life been?"

[Jerred Boneman]

"I'm here to support Kim, if case you were wondering, Chase." Jerred said, seeing Chase slide the card under the door.

[Prof. Rainer Freundschaft]

Ignoring the group of students clustered by the door, Professor Freundschaft walked past with purposeful detachment and opened the door without knocking. Seeing Kim Rivers and the a box of choclates she had just delivered startled the man. He had been steeling himself all throughout the long trek to the infirmary for the sight of the injured Moncrieff and had not thought of what he should do if he found himself interrupting someone. Rainer cleared his throat, "If we could have a moment, Ms.Rivers? I have something I need to say to our Professor Moncrieff." Biting his lip, Rainer did his best to look sympathetic though the sight of the girl scared him still. Though possessed, what he had felt from inside her was all too familiar and inevitably attached in his memory to the young woman standing before him. Stifling the thought, he cursed for the first time his impolite manner and vowed never to barge in to another room again.

[Kim Rivers]

She turned to Moncrieff "Professor?" She asked

[Brian Chase]

"Jerred, I see you act happy with Kim, but when I am with her you kinda break up the fun. Why?"
