Mandrake-having been in the staff room the whole time decided to come out of hiding. He jumped out of the candle beside leigh almost landing on him and straitened himself up. He looked at all the confused faces around him. He felt cold from being out of the warmth in the candle. The teachers continued to stare."They obviously have never seen spirit sommuning work before." he thought chuckling to himself.

Rainer turned with an irritated grimace towards the offending intruder. "You really ought to be more careful with yourself. Frivolous tricks have that awful habit of going wrong," he spat bitterly, more mad at Algernonfs abrupt retreat. gThe very slightest decorum on your part would be appreciated.h At that he turned to leave, only to collide with a tentatively solid Apronia and to his embarrassment let out a small cry. gOh. Uh. Hello,h Rainer stammered, collecting himself as rapidly as he could manage. gI apologize I didnft see you there, es tut mir leid, forgive me mein Engel.h Turning back towards Mandrake. gYou see, some of us actually know enough to apologize for our blunders.h With that said, Rainer stepped sharply from the staff room, intent on calming himself down before his first class.

"Tricks" Mandrake thought bitterly. He obviously does not know I could contol fire spirits and burn him alive. Thought Mandrake. He wanted to follow him but thought better than to start a fight his first day as a teacher. Mandrake walked out of the staffroom and headed for the astronomy tower.

Apronia felt a flush rising in her face. Twice she'd been bumped, but the second Professor didn't seem ruffled in the slightest. He'd merely directed some sarcasm toward one of the other men and departed. Pity, she'd have like to speak with him. Instead, she glowered at the other Professor.
"I'm Apronia, the Gameskeeper." her tone was surly and she fingered her wand, mentally sizing up the Professors. Their wand-calluses made her twitchy, and she tried to curb her elitist tendencies. Offending people who possessed infinitely greater magical ability that she did would not be wise, however much she wanted to on general principle. She waited for further introductions.
She was more than slightly offended when one of the men simply brushed past her and left, ignoring her statement entirely.

Once the coast was clear Mandrake slid back in to the Staffroom. He opened the wardrobe and pulled out the silver sword made by Orik Stonghorn. It was the only thing that could kill werewolves. There are five known silver swords on the world. It was from the werewolf wars. He was going into the forest and he wanted to be safe. He heard there was a pack attacking the unicorns. He turned to leave but someone was standing in the doorway.

"Excuse me, Professor, but that werewolf situation is hardly your problem." Apronia smiled concilatorially. "I'm Apronia, the Gameskeeper. I've just spoken with the centaurs, and they're guarding the unicorns. The full moon will set soon, and they'll return to human form, and can be arrested by the Auror contingent that is on its way." She looked pointedly at the silver sword. "Hardly fair to them, is it? After all, it's not like they WANT to become ravening beasts every month any more than women do."

"Werewolves destroyed my only true friend. I want them dead. Move aside Apronia. I dont want to hurt you, but if I have to, I will." And Mandrake drew his wand shouted Flamspiritil and the flame in the nearby candle shot into Mandrakes hand.
"Now if you don't move I will set you on fire."

"Try it!" she dared him, baring her teeth. "Just because you have a personal vendetta doesn't mean you're just." Mentally she prepared herself for the burning sensation and got ready to spit a countercharm. "Let the centaurs handle it, please. They're touchy and I had a hard enough time getting them to speak to me at all. Doesn't the wider well-being of the world affect you at all?"

" I look out for me and only me. You have no idea what its like." He shot the fire at her. She fumbled with her wand long enough for Mandrake to get away. He knocked her over and ran through the door hoping she wouldnt get up. ((OCC: Apronia, continue this in the forrbidin forest okay? ))
