Kieron raised an eyebrow at Brians question. It was quite a odd one, actually, although he wasn't going to judge another student for such a question. He had to focus on the class. Sighing lightly and shrugging, he frowned at the professor as he watched him talk, closing his eyes a bit. 'I could tell by your facial expression when I walked in. You still remember me from France, don't you?' He thought to himself, watching him falter in his speech as he opened his eyes. He would talk to him after class he supposed. See what he had been up too since they had seen each other at France.
He was actually surprised that he had taken the job here at Hogwarts. He was in shock as well. After not seeing someone for awhile, and then seeing them out of the blue, well. It was a little surprising for the wizard mind he supposed.
Raising a hand, he offered a smile. "Actually, I had a question to ask, if thats alright with you professor." His eyes twinking, he laid back a little in his bean bag chair, which happened to be green by the way, and got comfortable as he waited for the professor to call on him for his question.

Algernon looked at Chase, raising an eyebrow in confusion. He had no idea what he meant. So, he choose to ignore him.
When he heard Kieron's voice, he groaned inwardly. That was what he had been afraid of, when he asked if there were questions... only thing to do, he supposed, was hope he didn't say anything that would get him fired... he didn't think he would, really; he knew Kieron was smarter than that. But he scared him, that was true. What had happened last summer... it couldn't, couldn't happen again. It wasn't right. Still... Algernon had missed him. There was no denying that. He turned to look at Kieron, eyes pleading him not to say anything bad. "Yes, Kier- I mean, E'Drien?" He asked, cursing inwardly at the slip, and even more when he realized that he shouldn't even know his name yet.

Kieron saw the plea in his eyes, and sended him a look back, almost as if saying that he truthfully wasn't going to say something bad. Hearing Brians comment though, he sent a glare back to him, almost as if telling him to shut his mouth and it wasn't his place to speak. They only were speaking, and it was quite rude to inturupt a student and a teacher anyways.
Typical slytherin though. Keh.
Looking back at the professor, he sighed lightly and opened his lips to speak. But then forgot his question. God dammit! "Well.." He began, thinking for a moment. "I know this /may/ sound a little obsurd, but can divination help you if you have..a fear of heights?" A slightly sad look came onto his eyes, but he looked away and rubbed his head sheepishly, trying to hide it.

Brian looked at him and saw that he was angry. Brian sneered and raised his hand.

Algernon's heart leapt at the sadness in Kieron's eyes. He hated himself, because he knew he was the cause of that sadness. The last thing in the world he ever wanted was to make Kieron sad. But he knew, and he understood. Resisting the urge to proove to Kieron that he remembered, he turned quickly, striding away from Kieron to the other side of the room. "Divination is about discovering fate. Not changing it." He answered, speaking to the glass wall, looking out on the grounds. The view was no match for the one where... This was so frusterating, so bloody awful. He wanted more than anything to... but no. It wasn't possible. It was over, and it was his responsibility to make sure nothing ever happened again. For Kieron. He scowled, frusteration billowing out, directed at the nosey Slytherin. "How I know anything is none of your business, and what do you want now?"

Carrie rolled her eyes at the slytherin across the room. That sort of comment was just not appropiate, particularly in the strangely uncomfortable situation unfolding.
She glanced from teacher to student and back again, there was something more to these two, they already knew each other. She still had an eyebrow raised in curiosity but also knew it was none of her concern.

Brian was stubborn, and he didn't go to Hogwarts just to see to people have a freaky interaction.

Bloody hell.
Kieron already felt bad enough. Having a slytherin tell the professor that he was creeped out by Kieron made it worse. Offering a small nod to him, the wizard sighed. "I understand professor." He replied, glaring once again over at Brian, now with slanted eyes.
"I'm creeping you out eh?" He paused for a moment, then started to fume. "Excuse me for not going right over there and punching you over the head you snot-nosed nosy ass! I'm pissed off and it's best not to bug me any more then you bloody well should! I hate that you are getting into everyone's business and making it your own! Now just shut up!" There it went.
Kieron's famous temper that he rarely hardly /ever/ used, but could be fierce when it came out. Not to mention he was also bringing out his frustrations on the poor slytherin because of well, you know. Groaning, he held his head. "Forgive me professor. I shouldn't have said those things, but I meant every word of them." Great. What a nice way to make an impression. And in front of Algernon as well. He sent an apologetic look to the rest of the students and slunk down into his bean bag chair, silent. He was so going to lose points. Or something.

Deb's eyes had been going back and forth like she was watching a tennis match. And forgive her overactive imagination, but she was getting some very interesting vibes off of Kieron and Professor Moncrieff. She had nearly laughed at Kieron's little outburst, but the truth was that she was getting a little impatient. There had never been all this time-wasting with her old Divination teacher. But then again, she could always read the textbook after class; this was pretty interesting.

Professor Moncrieff couldn't resist smiling at Kieron's outburst. He was just like he remembered him. But, considering he was a teacher, he couldnt really let that go with nothing... "Now, now, E'Drien, I can handle Chase myself. But thank you for recognising that he was in the wrong." He said, a twinkle in his eye. "Now, we really should get on with the class..." There would be time to talk to Kieron afterward... he would have to, though he was terrified by the prospect. He shot a disapproving look toward the students who had begun opening their books. "Please put those away, class. We won't be using those any time soon. You see, those textbooks only cover the wizarding forms of divination which, regardless of what anyone will tell you, are very innacurate, and in come cases completly wrong. Here, we will be dealing with ancient forms of divination. We will tell the future using nature and the like, rather than such silly things as tea leaves." He glanced at his watch. "I'm afraid that's all the time we have for today, but... I want each of you to write me 3 inches on the Divinational properties of the planet of your choice, due this friday. Class dismissed." He gestured toward the door. "Ah... and Mr. E'Drien, would you meet me in the forth floor corridor? I believe there's a room there perfect for a private discussion." He toned 'private' in such as way af is to say 'and if anyone else comes, he'll have trouble sitting for a week.' He waved the class away with a distant smile, already going over in his head what he could possibly day to Kieron.
