[Charms] T1: Lesson 1: Introductions

[Prof. Rainer Freundschaft]

Professor Freundschaft perched himself on the corner of his desk, crossing his legs and reclined leisurely. The class room was still empty with the exception of the severely aligned desks the professor had spent half an hour arranging by hand. He hated to be kept waiting but had amused himself with the chore in the meantime. In reality his foul mood probably had more to do with Professor Moncriefffs hasty withdrawal from their conversation earlier that day, though of course Rainer would never admit such a thing. Mein gott! Am I really so repulsive? It was only then that he smelled the smoke and, jumping off his burning desk in surprise, realized his wayward thoughts had started another inadvertent fire. Doing his best to smother the flames with his coat, Rainer could feel his face burning and not from the fire.

Ash drifts lazily towards the ceiling and Rainerfs thin unnatural fog finally suffocates the pyre.

Carrie wandered into the Charms classroom cheerily, only to splutter on the smoke acculumating through the room. Wafting away the smoky air around her, she took a seat near the front of the classroom and gave the professor a smile. 'Hello Professor.' She opened her mouth again to ask about the smoke but then thought better of it.

Brian walked into the classroom and saw that carrie was there.

gWilkomen students!h the professor exclaimed, smiling calmly as if the smoke and slightly charred desk were of no particular concern or even out of the ordinary. Surreptitiously clearing the smoke from the room, ushered out through an open window with a quiet spell, Rainer realized only two had chosen to attend. gPerhaps we will be kind and give any stragglers time to show up? I commend you both for showing up promptly, of course attendance is very important. 7 points to the young lady for arriving first and 4 for second place,h he said congenially, beginning the process of restoring the burned ends of his desk and cleaning the walls of soot. gPunctuality pays off, nein?h

Carrie grinned, she was liking the new teacher already.

jinesh entered the class. he took a seat next to carrie the fellow gryffindor. he started taking out his books, quills, parchments and his phoenix core wand

Brian wanted class to end, only because of a gigantic headache.

[Helia Ollivander]

"Good morning Professor." said Helia walking into class and taking a seat by Chase.

[Prof. Rainer Freundschaft]

"Well, let's get started shall we? English Magic, as it has been taught to you, is inherently flawed. I've been assured by the administration that any and all of you are capable of a number of rudimentary charms," looking around the classroom, Rainer took stock of his students and decided on a demonstration. "Levitation for instance," he continued watching as students, desks and texts book alike rose from the floor in sudden and unbidden updrafts of lightness.

"A little fire and ice maybe?" Small flames rising around his feet as he speaks, snaking forward across the classroom's stone floor, a layer of frost in their wake, rising in to a plume of fire like a small sun above the student's desks.

"But you see, with magic, the matter of something out of nothing" he intones cleanly, stepping forward carefully to avoid both the ice and artificial sun. "Is not the how," flowered vines crawl from nowhere and ascend the walls. Rainer snaps his finger; the various conjurations evaporating and the students lowered slowly to the floor. "but the why."

jinesh couldn't PROPERLY understand what the professor was trying to say so he raised his hand and said,"professor, i didn't understand u"

[glow=red,2,300]Fleur entered "Good day" She said nervous. She introduced herself and seated herself. She hoped that one of the students would talk to her. [/glow]

"Hey" Said Feur. "Do you have a Girlfriend?" Said Fleur gigling. Like Im looking for a boyfriend, but im scared of getting cheated on.
