[DADA] T1: Lesson 2

[Lisa Turpin]

Lisa smiled appreciatively at Fin, before letting her eyes follow argument. With a sigh, she shook her head. Boys will be boys.

[Helia Ollivander]

She slapped Fin upside the head, "Will you stop flirting and pay attention?" she looked back at the Hufflepuff girl, "There's room over here if you'd like to move out of the tomato section of the class?"

[James McFinnigan]

"I'm not flirting. I happen to be welcoming a new girl to the class," Fin leaned closer to Halo. "Besides, why would I flirt with her? She's not Kim, if you haven't noticed."

[Brian Chase]

Brian sat in his chair eyes still covered he shook his head in disappointment.

[Lisa Turpin]

Lisa's eyes brightened at that idea, and she smiled enthusiastically. Quickly gathering her things, she moved towards Helia, who she smiled at warmly. "Thanks a lot." She whispered, taking a seat.

[James McFinnigan]

"Yeah, welcome," Fin said, rubbing the back of his head. "That really hurt you know," he said to Helia.

[Prof Octavious Everritt]

"Pay attention!" Leigh said. "As I said, the Banishka spell works simply by dismissing any summoned creatures with my Exdamentia spell. Now the simple exercise is that I want everyone to summon a simple creature, then try and banish it. It is much harder than you think, especially if you're the one who summoned it. Take out your wands and procede."

[Helia Ollivander]

"Glad to hear it," she mumbled to Fin before drawing her wand. She aimed it at her desk and said, "Felinic Exdamentia." a small, brightly coloured, calico cat appeared on her desk, walking about with its tail in the air. She aimed her wand at it and then said, "Banishka." and it disappeared in a whirl of red sparks. "Was that correct Professor?"

[Lisa Turpin]

"I'm Lisa," she said, shaking the offerend hand. "Really nice to meet you, it's good to know that this place doesn't only consist of people like him." She said, her head nodding toward Malfoy.

[Brian Chase]

Brian pulled out his wand, "Felinic Exdamentia" A rat landed on his desk. "Baniska" The rat suddenly disappeared.

[Jerred Boneman]

Jerred summoned a small dog, reflective of what he was feeling right then. It was a small runt of a mongrel, exactly describing the way he felt. "Banishka." He muttered as the dog yipped and vanished. "Hmph, so much for it being a bad spell." He looked around the class glumly, seeing smiles on everyone's faces.

[James McFinnigan]

"Okay, my turn baby. Felinic Exdamentia." A small tabby appeared before Fin. "Man, I hate cats. Banishka!" And with that, it was gone.

[Helia Ollivander]

"If you hate cats use a different incantation." she said aiming her wand at the desk again, "Wingdra Exdamentia." she said. Red sparks left her wand, swirled around, and then a small yellow canary was left in its wake. It hopped around on her desk, chirped a bit, and then Halo said, "Banishka." and it disappeared in red sparks.

[James McFinnigan]

"I hate birds too," Fin said, half-jokingly.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco used the Exdamentia spell, his wand vibrating in his hand. He stared at the ferret that he had summoned, and felt his face flush, for personal reasons. With a furious wave of his wand and an angry "Banishka!" The ferret was gone.
