[Summer] Books and Tea in London

Jac looked at Trish, to see how she would react when Girty took a muffin. She didn't seem to notice. She took the chance. She grabbed one, threw it to Grace, then took for a muffin for herself.

Trish cleared her throat. "Let me know what you think of 'em. I am very proud of my baking." She lifted the last muffin onto the plate and looked at Jac. Something passed between them, that only sisters would know. Trish smiled and nodded. She lifted the plate and walked out of the kitchen.

Jac nodded back. "Great as always, I'm sure," she called after her sister. She looked at Girty and Grace, "well, what do you think?" she asked. "Trish has had the place for about a month and she has only collected books and dust. She does say that she's getting ahead, but I don't think so."

[Girty Hubbles]

Girty grinned.
"It is great...it is really different from everywhere i have been....I love it!" She jumped up and down and took a big bite out of her muffin.

[Prof Grace Marks]

Grace smiled at Girty and nodded in agreement. "Nothing like it! But why'd you bring us here of all places? I mean it's great that we got to meet your sister and all, but ..." She wasn't quiet sure how to end that so left the question to hang in the air.

Girty looked over at Grace and laughed.
"Well why did she bring you. I had no life so ran after you through the streets of London." Girty laughed and pushed up her glasses as she turned to Jac.
