Jac leaped off the train and whirled around to check for Grace. Seeing her friend had made it in one piece, she whirled and began to run, weaving her way through the crowds trying to make it out onto the street. Every now and then she looked over her shoulder to check Grace was keeping up with her; she was.
"Finally!" she said, smiling as the street came into view. "Grace?" she said, turning on her heal to see if she was still there. "Grace?"
((this is open to all, so don't be shy))

"Jac," Grace called after her eager friend as she ran into the crowds. "Wait up!" She ran after Jac. Keeping her bright red hair in view, Grace navigated through the hauds and ran up behind Jac as she was calling out her name. "Yes! Yes! I'm here!" she said, panting slightly, "now will you tell me why we're here?"

"Oh there you are," Jac mused. She giggled to herself and shook her head, "not yet!" She turned and faced the busy street. She inhailed the air and smiled, letting out her deep breath. "Lovely to be back in the city." She looked at Grace and added, "lets go!"

Grace was exhausted. They had gotten up at the crack of dawn, shoveled down a huge breakfast and were running around all over the place to no avail. "Go!" Grace moaned, "but we just got here! Jac ... wait up!" She had dashed down the street and Grace ran after her.

Jac smiled happily to herself, happy Grace was as disorientated as she was. "Keep up," she said, turning a corner and cutting across the road. When she stood on the kerb she turned to check on Grace. "Come on we're nearly there!"
She smiled at Grace and turned once more to gallivant into the crowds of people oblivious to that fact that magic existed and that two witches were walking right beside them. She hummed loudly to herself and headed across the next road.

Grace breathed in deeply and ran to keep up but when she looked, Jac was across a road. She looked across it, then ran to the other side, hoping she had not interfered with traffic. Relieved she hadn't she looked ahead of her and found Jac was already by another road and crossing it. Huffing and puffing, Grace chased her over the road and reached her eventually. She grabbed Jac's arm and spun her around. "Jac, what is going on? I'm not going any father till you tell me where we're going!" She frowned and breather in short sharp breathes. "We've been doing this all morning!"

Jac walked on but was pulled back by a cold hand and was whirled around by an angry Grace. At first she was shocked, so shocked her hair turned bubble gum blue, but it faded into a ginger red as she smiled at Grace's huffing.
"There's no need to go any farther," she toyed, "we're here!" She lifted a hand and pointed to a rickety, old, rusty sign that hung over the door that stood next to them. The Poisoned Love it read with ivy wrapped around it. Jac looked at Grace with a large smile on her face. She was very proud of herself, proud that she had not spoiled the surprise before they got there.

Grace looked up to the sigh, then stared at Jac, unbelieving, "you brought me all this way, through all that-" she pointed behind her "-to bring me to a potions shop! Jeez, Jac, we could have go to school for that!" She whirled on the spot, throwing her arms around her, trying to relieve her frustrations. "I can't believe it!"

"Oh Grace don't be such a drama queen!" Jac played, walking behind her and pushing her towards the shop, "come on, we're already late!" She pushed her into the dark, dust shop, a door bell tinkling over head. "Trish!" Jac called into the gloom, "we're here!"
The smog cleared to reveal a dust, dimly lit bookshop. Blinking her eyes, adjusting to the light, Jac stopped pushing Grace and walked behind the high counter. There were tall pillars of books everywhere. "Trish, it still looks like you're moving in!" Jac commented reemerging from behind the counter with muffins. She handed on to Grace and smiled happily, "what you think?" she asked, turning around to observe the second landing with its many shelves and books not in shelves.

Grace was reluctant to go into the shop. She didn't want to go in. But as soon as her eyes had adjusted to the lack of light she was a most marvelous sight: books! Books everywhere. Big books, small books, books left and right and up and down. Grace's jaw dropped and she gapped at the small shop. There was even a second landing with even more books. Jac passed her a muffin. Grace bit into it automatically, "it's ... it's ... " she stuttered, looking around the small shop, "it's huge!" she looked at Jac, with a frown, "how it this possible? and who's Trish?"

Jac stuffed her mouth with muffin and laughed at Graces answer through her muffin. "Hmm," she said, swallowing her mouthful, "magical, isn't it!" she giggled. "Trish!" Jac called, "where are you?" "I'm here!" a soft voice called, "here!" Looking up, a hand could be seen waving over the balcony on the second landing. "Come up, Annie!" said the voice and the hand was gone.Jac looked up and smiled, "that's Trish! Let's go!" she said, pushing Grace up the stairs and onto the second landing. She looked around, "where Trish?" she called and jumped as Trish poked her head around the shelf. Trish was short but slightly taller then Jac. She smiled at Grace and walked up to her. "You must be Grace!" she said, "I was going to come over this evening but when Annie said she was going to bring you, I decided you'd be alright till now. Though by the looks of your, perhaps I was wrong." Trish shot Jac a look and added, "no matter, you're here now."
Trish walked back around the self and looked at Jac, "when you said you were coming I didn't think you'd be here so soon."Jac's hair flamed red and her eyes green, "what you mean? I made sure we left an hour before we were supposed to to get on time!" Trish laughed, "I know, mum phoned!" She looked back to Grace and asked, picking up a book and dusting it off with a cloth, "They all treating you right?"

Grace stared at the smiling young woman as she gabbered on. Her mouth hung slightly open when she realized the question was directed at her. "Oh, um, yeah! Just fine! I got in yesterday so not had much sleep but at least I got fed." She smiled at Trish then at Jac.

"Oh, Trish, leave her alone!" Jac said. But when she heard Grace's reply she stared at her. "You'll always get food at my house!'' she said, her freckles running across her nose and cheeks.
Trish giggled at Jac, "I was just asking!" She put the now dust free book into the empty shelf. "I know how you can be sometimes!" She giggled and picked up another book. She looked up from her book at Jac and Grace, "well..." she said, "grab a book and start dusting!"
Jac smiled at Trish and leaned towards Grace, whispering, "use and abuse! That's her motto!"

Girty had been walking around London with her brother. It was one of her favorite things when he was in Britain. Who better then to walk through the crowds of people with. when they were on the trains she looked around and saw a flash of purple hair. She shrugged and looked up at her brother and continued there conversation. But when getting off she heard a voice that sounded familiar. "Can i go on your shoulder?" "Why?" Asked her brother."Because i said so come on." She hit him in the stomach and claimed up his back. she could now see over the crowds and could spot two girls running and one with purple hair. "We need to follow them." "No way. I'm not doing that again Girty." Girtys brother slid her off his back and turned to her. "i will be back at mine. Call me is anything happens. Now run along or you will lose your targets."Girty waved goodbye to her brother as she ran after the two girls. As they ran farther and farther Girty began to get lost but the amount of people deceased. After what seemed an age of running they stopped. Girty skidded to a halt and hid behind a bin. When she looked up they were gone. "Dam it." But as she walked past she noticed a door was ajar and heard a familiar voice. She slowly pushed open the door and saw two people standing there. "Grace??. Jac?? Is that you?"

Grace smiled at Jac and walked to a small pile of books by the rail. She saw a cloth on the floor and took it and began to wipe an large book. She was humming her favourite Evanescence song when she heard her name being called out from down stairs. She looked down and saw Girty. She dropped the cloth onto the book and ran down the spiral star case. She ran to Girty and hugged her. "Oh my garsh! Girt!" she cried, "what are you doing here?"
