[Lk] Last Moment before Summer.

[Keifer Brently]

Keifer decided to come down to the lake and sit about for a bit before packing for the summer. He was looking forward to going home, he hadnt seen his family for a while, specially since he didnt go home during christmas break.

She sun was high in the sky, casting the shadows of the trees onto the lake. Keifer stood by the side of the water, watching the glow of the sun, a smile forming at the side of his mouth. He watched as some of the water insects glided on top of the water, a butterfly landing on the front of his light hawthorn hights t-shirt. He watched as its wings opened and closed, it was a light red in colour with black stripes on its wings.

As it flew away, Keifer watched it glide over the forest and out of sight. He put his hands in his pockets and leant more on his left leg. It was a quiet day as most of the students were inside packing. Keifer, on the other hand, preffered to pack when there wasnt as many students in the dorm.

[Jessie Miller]

Jessie was out having a wander going over the year in his head, thinking of all the mad things that had happened. He spotted Keifer on the edge of the lake looking a bit fed up...

Just go over to him He thought

Whats the point? Itll only end up being like every other time youve gone up to him to 'talk'

No it wont, hes not angry at me for anything...i think

After this mild argument with himself Jessie walked over to him as casually as possible, dispite the butterfiles in his stomach.
"Nice day," He said "How come your not packing?" He looked at Keifer and waited for a reply.

Keifer staring out over the lake, transfixed by the light of the sun on the water's surface. He heard a voice and turned to see Jessie, looking at him for a second before looking back over the lake, leaning more now on his right leg. He looked back at Jessie through his fringe and half smiled "Yeah, perfect actually" He looked away and laughed slightly "Me? Get caught up in the hustle of the students? No thanks, ill wait. Why arent you?"

Jessie smiled at the fact Keifer was being nice to him...it made a welcome change. "You never did like busy places," He paused watching Keifer trying to remeber when they last had a decent conversation "You know what im like, i leave everything 'till last minute." He said before laughing quietly

Keifer shrugged "No i never did like them... Always to crammed with people" Keifer laughed and looked onwards over the lake "Leave everything to the last minute or me more like" he corrected him, "You never did like packing yourself"
