Adrian stood ankle deep on the edge of the lake, his pant legs rolled up and a small pile of stones held in his hand, his wand balanced precariously within his finger tips. With a concentrated look he picked out a stone, took hold of his wand and rapped it on the stone twice, then slipped his wand back into his pocket.
Reaching back, he threw the stone side-armed out at the lake, and with a miraculous bounce it hit the waters and skipped in a high arc, bouncing across the water almost completely across the lake before it fell beneath the surface and sank.

Lisa bit her lip as she walked across the lake, fascinated that it could be so calm and serene after what had happened with the Lethifolds. She glanced at the water when a slight movement caught her attention and smiled as a stone skipped past the lake in remarkable strides.
Noticing a boy on the edge of the lake she walked up toward him and looked interestedly at his hands. "Impressive." She said, picking up her own stone, rubbing the surface with her thumb. "How did you manage to get it to go so far?"

He looked up as the girl strode up to him, smiling as she spoke. She looked younger than he was, and he certainly didn't recognize her.
"Its a fairly simple charm, just used in a creative way," he explained, removing his wand and rapping the stone in her hand, then throwing his own, which immediately hit the surface and sunk. "Oh," he said, scratching his head, "I didn't charm it I guess."

Lisa blinked, before grinning. "Ah, of course- Magic!" Then, holding her palm in front of her, she studied the stone for a minute before throwing it across the lake. It skipped along merrily, and she raised her eyebrows before looking back at the boy and smiling brightly.
"Clever. We haven't learned anything like this in charms." She could tell he was older than her, and grinned. "Of course, wisdom does come with age." After a small pause, she added, "We haven't met, have we?" Picking up another stone, she smiled and held it out, hoping for him to charm it once more. "I'm Lisa Lycott."

Adrian watched her stone skip across, a small grin on his face. But with a shrug he looked back at the girl. "Oh," he said, tapping her stone again. "I'm Adrian Santok," he told her, picking up a new stone and this time being sure to charm it.

((I just wanted to say; I like your avatar xDD))
Lisa thanked him, before skipping the stone across the lake once more, smiling slightly as she watched it. Then, turning back to Adrian, she grinned. "You could probably do more with it, couldn't you? Like, make it move more intricately, for instance?"

Adrian nodded as he took out a piece of purple gum and popped it into his mouth.
"Oh yeah," he said between chews, picking up another rock, and giving it another tap. "Ok lets see," he said, looking at her with a grin before lightly tossing it onto the water.
Immediately the rock shot straight up with a whistle, disappearing from sight for a few moments before coming down again, splashing into the water.

Lisa waited excitedly as he charmed the rock and couldn't help but stumble back in surprise when the loud whistle reached her ears. As it suddenly came back into view, she shielded her eyes and watched it speed back to the lake, laughing with delight. "Your skills are impressive- Definitely above O.W.L level." She said with a smile, looking back at him. "You must be in at least sixth year."
Picking up another rock, she glanced at him with raised eyebrows before handing it to him. "Lets see if we can make it spin." A small smirk appeared on her lips.

"Nope, seventh year," he responded taking the rock from her. With a shrug he tapped the rock a few times. "This is just easy stuff," he explained, chucking the rock out towards the water.
It sailed like a frisby, falling slowing and in circles, before hitting the water and shootting off it like a top, spinning rapidly, it continued to bounce this way a short distance before falling through the surface again.

Lisa grinned, a bit embarrassedly. "Oh, well, I bet it'd be difficult for me. I'm only fourth year, you see." She paused, suddenly feeling exceptionally young. Smiling slightly, she looked back out at the lake, remembering the stones circular movements. "If you're in your seventh year," she started, a bit distractedly. "Will you be coming back to Hogwarts as an apprentice? Or just going to go on and start your life as an adult."
She made a face, looking back at Adrian with amusement. She knew if it was her, she'd stay at Hogwarts as long as she could.

Adrian looked at the water, concentrating as he rolled a stone around in his hand. After another moment he simply shrugged. "I don't know," he admitted. "I had hoped to continue playing Quidditch, but I suppose I may get a part-time job somewhere, maybe in Hogsmeade," he shrugged again and threw the rock, skipping it across the water, this time without magic.

Lisa brightened at the mention of Quidditch and nodded. "It would be great to be a Quidditch star." She said excitedly, tucking some hair behind her ear. "Especially playing for Puddlemere." She sighed, a wistful look on her face - Puddlemere United had always been her favourite team.
Then, pausing for a moment, she soon she added, "I'm only a mediocre chaser, of course. Only made the team this year," there was a sense of pride in her voice, however. "What position do you play, then?"

"I've played Keeper since I was six," he replied. "My whole family is on about Quidditch, my father used to play professionally, and now my brother does. I'm sure my younger brother will play here at Hogwarts next year when he comes, or try to," he explained rolling down his sleeves.
Stepping out of the water, he slipped his wand down his sleeve and rolled down his pantlegs, putting his sandals back down and looking about idly. "I suppose until I work that out, Hogsmeade wouldn't be so bad. I'd probably end up somewhere strange like Madame Puddifoot's," he addded thoughtfully, though he'd never been there.

Lisa let out a small laugh, watching as he slipped himself away from the water. "Your father played professional quidditch?" She asked, her expression revealing her awe. "My dad's a muggle," she grinned, smoothing down her robes. "Huge football fan, though still is a bit queasy about the fact humans can fly without the help of technology, even though my mum's a witch."
Her eyes sparkled brightly, a broad smile on her face. "Wonder how much of a shock it was to him when he that found out."
Then, thinking over his latter remark, she smiled softly. "It'd be nice to work at Hogsmeade, though I'd miss Hogwarts horribly- even more so when the students came for their trips."
