Grace was huffing and puffing as she came to the Headmistress's office door. She ran through the story she had concocted once more before forcefully knocking on the door three times.

Knock.
Taking note of the type of knocking could reveal a lot about the reasoning of a visit. If someone just wished to have a drink with company, they would tap lightly on the door, perhaps along to a tune.
Knock.
Though if someone was arriving purely for business purposes, the knock would be more formal and slightly louder.
Knock.
Then there were those knocks that were loud in urgency, and forceful in nature. These were the knocks that the Potions Professor dreaded.. these were the knocks that meant something had gone wrong.
The Professor dropped her quill on the table before her, and almost flinched to hear what she thought to be the more urgent third kind of knocking. Her mind immediately focused on the Forest, a place which had been the source of trouble all year and still hadn't been tamed. 'Come in.' She said finally, removing any reluctance from her voice, and telling herself to stop expecting the worse from everything.

On hearing a voice from within telling her to go in, Grace turned the door handle and walked in. The headmistress was sitting at her desk and Grace noted her anxious look, so hastily closed the door behind her. "Sorry to bother you, ma'am," Grace began, walking towards the professors desk, "but I need your help. I've had a slight misfortune with a certain potion and was wondering if you could help me reversing it?"

'A potion?' She repeated, letting out a slight sigh of relief. That was one thing she never minded talking about. 'Of course I can help you-- what sort of potion are we talking about here?' She asked, feeling quite intrigued.

Grace smiled and walked towards the headmistresses desk. "It was a ridiculous potion. I spilt it on a very important book and it turned into a couch. And I want to turn it back but I don't know how to exactly without damaging the book."
