Lizzie Karew had been wandering the corridors for a good half-hour now, when she realized that if she didn't ask someone, preferably a Hufflepuff, for help, she'd never find the common room. The only problem was, there was no one in sight. And she was terrified. Thid was her first year at Hogwarts and she didn't know what to expect. Well okay, she knew what to expect since her two sisters Erika and Jessicka were both seventh years and had told her, but that didn't make her any less scared. She wandered around for a few minutes, then decided to sit down and rest for awhile. She slid down against a wall and drew her knees up to her chest and curled up into a little ball. She didn't mean to actually fall asleep. She just did. That's when someone almost tripped over her. Maybe being so small did have it's disadvantages...

Boggleworth had been thinking, he'd been doing a lot of that recently and so never noticed the young hufflepuff until he'd fallen right over her. As it was he tripped but didn't quite land flat on his face, flat on his nose was more precise. He yelped in pain and clutched his bleeding nose, he stumbled to his feet and saw a young Hufflepuff looking very scared "it's alright!" he mumbled "I'll be fine!" that's what he meant to say but it came out more like "hit's b-light" his nose bleeding profusely now "I bee bine!" He took a rather large hanky from his robe pocket and tried to stop the bleeding.

Lizzie jumped up as an older Hufflepuff boy tripped over and landed on his nose. She noticed it seemed to be broken or something. "Oh my gosh, I am so sorry!" She cried. "Here, let me fix that..." she pulled out her wand pointed it at his nose and said "Ennervate" ((is that how you spell it? too lazy to look it up... )) She put her wand away and began nervously chewing on her bottom lip as she tried to get up the courage to ask the boy to help her.

Boggleworth gaped as his nose was instantly fixed, he smiled broadly "thanks, though to be honest I don't like people using magic on me, but I'll let you off just this once!" He laughed merrily "so what's your name then? and why were you you there? Ah wait your a first year! Was I supposed to lead all of to the common room? I could have sworn Lisa said she'd show the way. I'm Boggleworth pleased to meet you, so the Hufflepuff common room then?" He enquired with a wry grin.

Lizzie laughed softly. "Yeah..." she whisperd tucking her hair behind her ear. She looked up and had to tilt her head up in order to look into Boggleworth's eyes. Then she realized she had yet to introduce herself. "I'm Elizabeth Karew. But everyone calls me Lizzie."

Boggleworth bowed and said "ah Lizzie, the pleasure is all mine, now if the young lady would follow me I shall show her to the delightful common room, where she will undoubtetly spend many a happy hour," He chuckled and began to set a decent pace walking along quickly but not too quick to leave her behind. "I know your sisters not well I'm afraid ah yes I've taken points off one of them before, the Slytherin ah yes!" he smiled happy memories.

Lizzie sighed. "Let me guess... someone said something stupid to her and she attacked them. Am I correct?"

"Oh no I'm sure that's happened many a time, no someone said nothing and she just attacked them, probably some prior disagreement, she's a reputation for a particulary quick angered Slytherin."

Lizzie found herself laughing at Boggleworth's sarcasm then she sighed and shook her head. "Jessicka really needs to learn how to control her temper."

"Well people don't change easily I'm afraid, especially stubborn people, I bet you've been on the recieving end a few times, but that's family for you,"
