[RoR] My favourite things (way open)

Mort hesitantly sat down in the chair he whispered a thanks and focused his attention on the piano. he got very bored very quickly. His mind wandered to his muggle drum set and his favorite muggle drummer David Grohl and he smiled. He started the foot petal motion then the roll on the snare and then down across the Tom Tom, and finishing with a loud symbol on the High hat. He realized his arms was flailing around in the air and saw the mean stare Fernand gave him, and he stopped immediately focusing his attention on the piano again.

[Girty Hubbles]

Girty had sat silently and watch the other two member in the group. Her eyes went form one to the other and when Mort started to imaginary play the drums she could not help but giggle. She then thought about what the other two had said how one players guitar and the other drums. She decided to talk over Grace splaying whether it caused any disgust from the other or not.
"I have not been in this room very often but my thought was that if we wanted it a cupboard could appear in that corner there with the instrument in you want? Or I'm i wrong? it would not be the first time or the last"
She looked around hoping for a answer.

" I guess it could work here, I will try." Mort stood up - He focused better on his feet - and closed his eyes. He thought hard on his drum set and a cupboard. At first nothing happened but finally in the corner appeared a cupboard. "What do I do?" he asked

[Girty Hubbles]

Girty shot up whens he saw the cupboard appear.
"Wow." she whispered and moved closer. "I don't know...maybe we should open it"
She shuffled closer and touched the handle on the cupboard door. But quickly spun around to face Mort.
"You open it. I do not know what i want to see inside." She then stepped aside to give him room.

Mort stood up and hesitantly crossed the room. He took a deep breath and pulled open the door. Sitting inside was his jet black Ludwig drum set, with drum sticks setting on the snare. He breathed a sigh of relief. "What do I do now?" he asked silently.

[Girty Hubbles]

Girty laughed and looked inside to see the drum set.
"I do not know i have never played the drums in my laugh." She smiled and looked at Mort.
"Maybe you should pull it out and set it up."

[Prof Grace Marks]

Grace had started playing a fox trot her mother had tought her, a quick pased number. She smiled, listening to her friends following in the conversation. "Maybe," she said over her shoulder, "maybe you should set that up next to Fernand?"

Mort smiled and pulled out the drumset. He took the peices and put them together beside Fernand and grabbed the sticks. He took a deep breath and led into his Favorite muggle song 'Smells like teen spirit', laughing the whole time.

[Prof Grace Marks]

Grace listened to what the boy was playing and stopped herself from laughing aloud. "You look like Animal when you play, Mort," Grace said over the drums.

[Girty Hubbles]

Girty laughed and closed the cupboard doors. I wonder. She closed her eyes and slowly opened the door and in there sat a small triangle. She laughed madly and took it out. As she skipped over and stood between the piano and the drum set she hit the trinagle and let it ring. She could not help but join in with the laughter and hit the triangle to the beat.

Mort had just reached the Chorus when he heard Graces comment. "Thanks. I try. Do you know any Muggle rock songs?" he asked Grace going into a solo he made up.

Grace smiled at Girty and nodded, looking back to Mort as she said, "yeah! Heard of Evanescence?"

"They are a good band. I dont know many of their songs though. Play one and I will follow in." said Mort smiling rolling the stick in between his fingers.

[Girty Hubbles]

"Can I play the trinagle!" Girty jumped up and down and hit the tringle creating the sweet ringing sound again.

"Sure." said Mort laughing.
