Grace listened to Boggleworth's kind words and they touched her deeply. As he spoke the tears began welling up in her eyes. She avoided his. The tears rolled slowly, painfully down her cheeks. She wanted to tell them, she did, but didn't want to cry in front of them. She would love to get all the stress of of her chest that had been piling up since second year. But she didn't want to seem pathetic in front of her new friends.

Boggleworth's heart went out to Grace he offered her a tissue and gave her a quick hug hoping she wouldn't mind and then said "it's fine to cry, don't ashamed. Come on let it all out, you'll feel better for it I promise you!" Boggleworth said kindly hoping to help Grace

Grace took the tissue, and held back her tears. But when Boggleworth hugged her, she could not contain herself anymore. The tears stained her cold cheeks and the crying took over. She hugged him back and held him tight. She cried and cried. "I-I ju-just miss h-her so so mu-mu-much!!!" she whimpered.

Boggleworth tried to stem his own tears but he just felt so sorry for her a few began to trickle down his own cheeks, he stroked her hair and whispered to her "it's alright, it's normal to feel so sad, she must have been amazing your mum, the best in the world I should think to have such an amazing daughter as you,"

Grace felt her face flush red. She pulled away from him, "I-I'm so-sorry!" she stuttered. "I didn't mean to-to be such a-such a girl!" she whimpered. "I've just always been-"
She could stand it no longer. She grabbed Bogglewoorth around the waist and hugged him tight. Her sobs turned to full-blown, body-wrenching crying. "I've ju-just fel-felt all alone si-since she di-died!"

Girty looked around to see Bog and Grace hug and the tears for both of them. Her heart ached for the paint that Grace was feeling and Bog must be able to relate to that pain as well. What words of comfort could she say???
"I will always be here for both of you." She smiled at them whether they were paying attention or not she continued to talk. "No matter how useless i can turn out to be"

Grace smiled at Bog and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Then Girty piped up. Grace could not help but fling her arms around Girty's neck and hug her tight. "Thank you!" she whispered.

Shocked Girty lost her balance and fell backwards. She smiled "Any time Grace."

"of course as Girty rightly says whenever you need us we're here for you" said Boggleworth blushing just slightly and touching his cheek lightly where Grace had kissed it, he hugged her tighter and nearly said he loved but thought it might be taken the wrong way or might not be appropraite now

They fell over and Grace rolled onto the heath and started laughing. She rolled on her back and laughed and then started crying again. She lay limp on her side and let herself be taken over by greef and regret.

Boggleworth looked down at Grace with tears now flowing from him as well but he'd never really known grief before, I must love Grace a lot he thought as a friend

Girty lay still. She wanted to pull grace to her and end this grief, but that would be hard. Then it came to her. It would not cure the pain but would help. She turned and ran back up the stairs towards the dormitory. (Falling over on numerous occasions)

Grace sat up. Where's she going? she thought. She crawled to where Bog was sitting and put her head on his knee. She took a quivering hand and wiped away her tears.
