Kerry sat peacefully studying away, her legs curled up, as she sat on one of the many dusty yellow sofa's, spread throughout the common room. She was revising thoroughly for the next year's exams, it pays to be prepared she thought. Her concentration wavered, when someone entered the common room, she looked up from her book curiously...

Grace stumbled into the common room and realized that she had disturbed another's studying. "Oh, I'm sorry!" she said, and tried to tip-toe quietly to her favourite seat next to the fire. She dragged her feet so was rather noisy. She flopped down into her seat and looked at the other hufflepuff, "I don't believe we've met. I'm Grace!"

Kerry blinked and replied
"Oh you're not interupting, it'd be great to have someone to study with really, I'm Kerry, pleased to meet you Grace!"
