Boggleworth entered the common room cautiously and approached the fire to warm himself, lately he'd been feeling a little chill, something to do with the voice inside his head. But today oddly the voice had been silent and so now he had full control over himself, he decided to venture into the common room once more. A place he had been steering clear of recently, as he didn't want to drag his friends into his troubles.
It was late nearing midnight so Boggleworth guessed he would be alone, that didn't suit him, he hated being alone but he did need to think. So he sat near the fire gazing into the flames muddling over his problems.

Girty shot up out of bed as her watch alarm went off. She slid to the end of her bed and slowly opened to trunk. When she looked inside she pulled out a bag of marshmallows and a stick.
Silently leaving the dorm she skipped down the stairs and smiled to herself thinking about the prospect of her might-night snack.
However when she came into the common room she saw Boggleworth.
"Long time no see. We were wondering if you would ever come back to join us in here."

"I just couldn't keep away!" laughed Boggleworth "ah just what I needed Girt" he took the bag of marshmellows and began to toast them with the stick. "how considerate of you, you must have missed me at dinner" He laughed seeing the shocked expression on Girty's face, he winked conspiratorially
"I won't tell anyone of your mid-night snacks!" he joked.

Girty looked at Bog and slowly moved toward him taking the bag back off him.
"Hey...who said you could have any?" she laughed and started to toast hers. She smiled at Bog and looked at him.
"We have been at quite a loss without you. there have been patches of silence for around a minute. It is not normal I tell you"

"Silence! Cripes, that's not good, for a full minute! That's shocking. At a loss without me, pah, you do talk rubbish sometimes!" he laughed joyfully.
"So what you been up to recently?"

GIrty stuffed the now burnt Marshmallow into her mouth.
"I have been sitting around, laughing at people, falling over and laughing some more."
"What about you dear Bog. Had fun hiding away from us all?"

"No I have most definetely not, but I won't explain it all now, it's too confusing and I need a break from it all, suffice it to say that, my mind is not totally my own!" He quickly popped his third marshmellow into his mouth
"hmm lovely!"

Girty laughed and stuck 5 marshmallows in a row on her stick and leaned in toward the fire.
"Well it is nice to see you again...apart from on your prefect rounds." She laughed and ate the first of the marshmallows on her stick.
"What are you doing up so late anyway?"
