Perry skipped into the Gryffindor common room and was dismayed to see nobody about, he jumped onto a sofa, then seeing nobody about still he got out a muggle joke book and began to read. This was one of his favorite past times along with rugby, although people wouldn't think he had the build for it, he was quick, though he didn't dare start the wizarding game, what was it called something quids, his sister loved the game but he didn't share her passion for it, give him a good muggle game anyday.

Miranda slowly walked into the common room pulling her bag after her. She was totally oblivious to anyone else in there. As she made her way to the chair by the fire she dropped her bag and flopped onto the sofa.
With a huge sigh of relief she pulled a letter out of her pocket and lay back reading it with a frown on her face. After only reading the first paragraph she threw the paper on the floor in anger only to notice she was not alone.
