This is where all students should submit their homeworks. All students are expected to do them. A good piece of HW gets 5 points, an exceptional piece gets 10. The student with the most exceptional pieces after HWs will get 25 points extra. Not submitting a piece of HW gets -5 points, unless the student can prove extenuating cercumstances.
HW #1
Assigned: 2/26 Due: 3/3 Assignment: Three inches on the Divinational properties of the planet of your choice.

The Divinational Properties of Saturn By Helia Ollivander
Saturn is viewed by most as a harbringer of bad luck because it's main aspect is that of controlling responsibility, age, finance, and other subjects that most people view as unpleasant. It has the disadvantage of having more chance to have an astral clash than most planets and thus is viewed as unlucky, or to some, as Malefic. It rules over the zodiac signs of Aquarius and Capricorn. I myself believe that Saturn is more beneficial than most people give it credit for. My reasons being that, 1) it rules over responsibility, which although it could mean heavy responsibilities and lots of work, it could also mean light responsibilities, or large responsibilities with big rewards. 2) It rules over age, meaning it could curse you with looking older than you are or give disease in old age, but it could also bless you with a long and healthy life, and 3) It rules over finance, which although most interpret that as bills and debt, it could just as easily mean wealth and easy living! I end this essay with one question: Saturn, evil or good? You be the judge.

Saturn Brian Chase PLANET Saturn is said to be bad luck because it's aspect is that controlling age, responsibility, finance, and other things that are what people say as "not dinner time conversation''. The zodiac signs of Capricorn and Aquarius are two and the only zodiacs it rules over. I believe that Saturn's rings have something to do with all of it's aspects... responsibility, finance, age, and those other things. I think Saturn has heavy responsibilities. I can grasp the meaning of the age, fiance probably means good or bad wealth and good and bad living. In my opinion to Helia's question I think Saturn is a good planet. Why I think that is because it can give you good wealth and nice living, whatever you say, I will stick by my opinion.

(To answer her question, we both chose Saturn so I thought it would be interesting to answer her question.)

Please remember students, your homework is due today! If it is not turned in by midnight tonight, and you participated in this class, I'll be forced to take points from your house.

Homework is never nessisary. It's just an evil way for teachers to proove that we have ultimate power over you. So do it, Mr. McFinnigan, or it'll be points off.

If you will just let me explain, I'm sure you will find my reason valid.
It is known that there are an infinate number of wrolds, simply because there is an infinate amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the Universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the whole Universe is also zero. Since there are technically no people on Earth (or any other world for that matter), Divination itself doesn't exist, because no one exists to create/discover it. This means that, technically, none of the planets have any divinational properties whatsoever.

Except, well, obviously we -do- exist. I'm quite sure I do, anyway. So if you're deciding that you don't exist I suppose you don't have to do the homework, but then there's really no reason for me to give a passing grade to someone who doesn't exist, now is there?

Doesn't matter to me. I don't even exist, so how can I get a bad grade (which is also non-existent, because it was non-existently written by a non-existent teacher)!
